Cliff Jansen created QPID-4008: ---------------------------------- Summary: tcpNoDelay connection setting causes fatal exception on Windows Key: QPID-4008 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4008 Project: Qpid Issue Type: Bug Components: C++ Client Affects Versions: 0.16, 0.17 Environment: Windows Reporter: Cliff Jansen Assignee: Cliff Jansen Fix For: 0.17
For example "qpid-perftest --tcp-nodelay" terminates abnormally when opening its first connection. The Windows implementation of Socket::setTcpNoDelay lacks a check for INVALID_SOCKET and so fails before the connection is open. It should set "nodelay=true" and return to set the option correctly later from Socket::createSocket. This is the logic in the Linux implementation. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
