Re: [DISCUSS] 0.5.0 release

2019-12-09 Thread Mukul Kumar Singh

Hey Xiaoyu,

As part of the earlier thread for 0.5.0, I had raised a concern for
update of grpc and protobuf version in Ratis.

That change is now merged into Ratis and we are good to roll out a new
release(0.5.0).

Thanks,

Mukul

Thanks everyone.

RATIS-407 is now committed. Please let me know if there are specific
issues you like to include. Otherwise, will roll a release later this
week or early next week.

Hi Ratis Dev,

As reported by Henrik Hegardt and Andy Wu, Ratis 0.4.0 release

has a

Therefore, we suggest rolling out 0.5.0 release as soon as

possible.

Any thought?

Re: Please invite me to the slack

2019-12-09 Thread anu engineer
Apache has made a change where we can invite other people without apache
email IDs into slack.

Here is a link for joining the Ratis Slack group. Please try this out and
see if this works for you.
As Arpit said, we mostly use @apache ID so your mileage may vary.

Thanks

Hello, if you don’t have an @apache.org email address you may need to file an
INFRA ticket to get an invite. I am not able to add you with your @qq.com email
ID.
