[CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0
Let's cancel this release until we all agree on a solution for the ResourceChangeListener path filtering support issues identified in SLING-5837. I'll open a new thread after I delete the tag and drop the staging repository. RE: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0
@radu: the next API release should be 2.13.2 (instead of 2.14.0). 2.13.0 was never released officially (and if a svn tag still exists it should be deleted), so there is no "minor" change between 2.13 and 2.14, but only between 2.12 and 2.13.2. stefan >-Original Message- >From: Radu Cotescu [mailto:r...@apache.org] >Sent: Friday, July 15, 2016 2:18 PM >To: Radu Cotescu; dev@sling.apache.org >Subject: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0 > >Let's cancel this release until we all agree on a solution for the >ResourceChangeListener path filtering support issues identified in >SLING-5837. Re: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0
Argh, I've just staged the release for 2.14.0 after chatting to Carsten. Should I start again with 2.13.2? Re: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0
My 2cents on this would be: why not make it a 2.15.0 - new svn tags come very cheap (versus reusing them is costly) Cheers, Stefan On 21/07/16 14:50, "Radu Cotescu" wrote: >Argh, I've just staged the release for 2.14.0 after chatting to Carsten. >Should I start again with 2.13.2? > >On Thu, 21 Jul 2016 at 14:47 Stefan Seifert >wrote: > >> @radu: the next API release should be 2.13.2 (instead of 2.14.0). >> >> 2.13.0 was never released officially (and if a svn tag still exists it >> should be deleted), so there is no "minor" change between 2.13 and 2.14, >> but only between 2.12 and 2.13.2. >> >> stefan >> >> >-Original Message- >> >From: Radu Cotescu [mailto:r...@apache.org] >> >Sent: Friday, July 15, 2016 2:18 PM >> >To: Radu Cotescu; dev@sling.apache.org >> >Subject: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0 >> > >> >Let's cancel this release until we all agree on a solution for the >> >ResourceChangeListener path filtering support issues identified in >> >SLING-5837. RE: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0
we never reuse tags - the question was only to use 2.13.2 or 2.14.0 instead of the cancelled 2.13.0 release. we stick with 2.14.0. stefan >-Original Message- >From: Stefan Egli [mailto:stefane...@apache.org] >Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2016 2:55 PM >To: dev@sling.apache.org >Subject: Re: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0 > >My 2cents on this would be: why not make it a 2.15.0 - new svn tags come >very cheap (versus reusing them is costly) > >Cheers, >Stefan > >On 21/07/16 14:50, "Radu Cotescu" wrote: > >>Argh, I've just staged the release for 2.14.0 after chatting to Carsten. >>Should I start again with 2.13.2? >> >>On Thu, 21 Jul 2016 at 14:47 Stefan Seifert >>wrote: >> >>> @radu: the next API release should be 2.13.2 (instead of 2.14.0). >>> >>> 2.13.0 was never released officially (and if a svn tag still exists it >>> should be deleted), so there is no "minor" change between 2.13 and 2.14, >>> but only between 2.12 and 2.13.2. >>> >>> stefan >>> >>> >-Original Message- >>> >From: Radu Cotescu [mailto:r...@apache.org] >>> >Sent: Friday, July 15, 2016 2:18 PM >>> >To: Radu Cotescu; dev@sling.apache.org >>> >Subject: [CANCELLED][VOTE] Release Apache Sling API 2.13.0 >>> > >>> >Let's cancel this release until we all agree on a solution for the >>> >ResourceChangeListener path filtering support issues identified in >>> >SLING-5837.
