[Jira] Access to "Releases" requires login
Hi, In our release mails we reference the corresponding release in the Apache Jira, for example https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/SLING/versions/12350420 If you are not logged in into Jira, this URL won't work, and you get an error page. If you don't have a Jira account (and the latest policy change makes that even harder to get one) it's almost impossible to see what's going to be in a single release. Of course this should prevent committers and PMC members to act on the release mail, as they already have an account. But if you are just subscribed to sling-dev to keep track on the development side of Sling, it's hard to understand what will be part of the new release. Does anyone consider this to be a problem we want/need to solve? Or is it just me, who reads mails von a system where I am not consistently logged in into the Apache Jira? Or are there any readers on this list, which do not have a account yet on the Apache Jira? Jörg -- Cheers, Jörg Hoh, https://cqdump.joerghoh.de Twitter: @joerghoh

Re: JIRA access
Bertrand, Felix, Thanks, I'll hopefully take a look soon if I make some free time(!) around project work. I've been developing with CQ for awhile have become a fan of Sling itself, so will be nice to contribute :) Best Dave On 10/10/2013 05:40, Felix Meschberger fmesc...@adobe.com wrote: Hi Or better yet, create new issues pertaining to concrete tests you add. JIRA access
Hello everyone, I was hoping to cut my teeth contributing to Sling by looking into integration tests for SLING-999https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-999. (If it's still a relevant issue? If not, I'd be happy to take a steer on something else). I was just wondering the process — I've basic JIRA access, but can't assign the issue to myself. Thought possibly I should request contributor access here, or should I create a patch first attach? JIRA Access
All, My JIRA user 'klcodanr' does not seem to have sufficient permissions to manage versions in JIRA, can I be granted sufficient permissions? Thanks, Dan
Re: JIRA Access
Hi Dan I made you an administrator of the Sling project. Should work now, I hope. Regards Felix Am 06.08.2013 um 18:33 schrieb Daniel Klco: All, My JIRA user 'klcodanr' does not seem to have sufficient permissions to manage versions in JIRA, can I be granted sufficient permissions? Thanks, Dan
