Re: wiki access
I'll reach out to infra. As a space admin, you should have a button in the lower left corner called "Space Tools" that provides access to the Space permissions. There, at the very least, you should have visibility into what configurations have been set up. - Jason On Fri, Feb 16, 2018, at 2:36 AM, Robert Munteanu wrote: > Hi Jason, > > On Thu, 2018-02-15 at 22:02 -0500, Jason E Bailey wrote: > > Can someone with admin rights provide me with access to the wiki > > please? > > user name:jeb > > > > Thanks > > - Jason > > I see that the 'index' wiki page is accessible to the 'sling- > committers' group, but I don't see its membership listed anywhere. Re: wiki access
Yes, I can confirm that in the past the individual users have been given access (not based on group memberships). If this is no longer accurate we need to fix https://sling.apache.org/documentation.html#the-public-wiki <https://sling.apache.org/documentation.html#the-public-wiki> as well. Konrad > On 16. Re: Wiki access
Thanks, Carsten. I will extend the documentation and point to https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/spaces/viewspacesummary.action?key=SLING=true for a list of all current admins. I think asking for edit permissions via the mailing list is the way to go then. Konrad > On 10. Re: Wiki access
Hi, it seems we have a lot of admins for that space, and I'm one of them :) So I added your id and gave you appropriate permissions to work on that wiki. Wiki access
Hi, according to http://sling.apache.org/documentation.html#the-public-wiki the wiki is open for self-registration (which is true) and automatically grants everyone write/edit access (which is obviously not true). I see that the root page is write-restricted to the group sling-committers. How do I become member of that group? My Confluence username is "kwin". The only documentation I found at Apache is https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Cwiki which does not say anything about how the group memberships are managed, so I assume that this is done on the project level. Who is currently wiki space admin for https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLING/? Thanks, Konrad
