How do ordinary users access the new Wiki (for reading)? The link above
leads to
a login page.

The old MoinMoin wiki at https://wiki.apache.org/subversion/ still

While the old wiki remains online I think there should be a big yellow box
informing
users that this is old and superseded by the new Confluence wiki.

Wiki migration complete -- new wiki is now live

2018-04-20 Thread Johan Corveleyn
After several more iterations, I'm happy to report that the wiki
migration to the ASF's Confluence wiki is now considered "done". See:

https://cwiki.apache.org/SVN

This means we can now start using the new wiki again as an editable,
living documentation space. So, go forth and documenteth :-).

The old MoinMoin wiki at https://wiki.apache.org/subversion/ still
needs to be edited so all pages become redirects to their cwiki
counterpart.

BTW: the new wiki doesn't send notifications to commits@a.o. However,
you can set up notifications for yourself from within the wiki:

- Log in and go to the Subversion space.
- Click on "Pages" in the left sidebar (it's black and bold, so
doesn't look like a link, but it is).
- Click "Start Watching this Space" in the top right.
- If needed, tweak your notification settings in your Profile >
Settings > Email.
