It's not maintained by us. I've send a number of pull requests for new
versions, but whoever the maintainers are on the Homebrew team have some
very specific ideas about how packages should be produced -- obviously. :)

I think, if we get the Python 3 support in tell HB about it (via a PR of
course), they won't mind switching the dependency to Python 3, or maybe
even both.

(Homebrew Py3 is more reliable in my experience than their Py2, which
has strange interactions with the system default.)
