Re: Apache Superset Committer Meeting Notes

2018-03-12 Thread Stephanie Rivera
Hi Jeff et al,

I am interested in joining. We have begun to use Superset here at SpotX and
my data engineering team is beginning to build out features for Superset.
We do not have anything complete enough to commit yet. Mostly the team has
been learning the framework and models as to determine the best way to
implement features instep with the current codebase.

Cheers,

Stephanie

Re: RPM

2017-11-13 Thread Stephanie Rivera
When I try to install markupsafe it is already there..

(venv-superset)[ec2-user@mynode ~]$ pip install markupsafe

Requirement already satisfied: markupsafe in
./venv-superset/lib/python2.7/site-packages/MarkupSafe-1.0-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg

RPM

2017-11-13 Thread Stephanie Rivera
Has anyone been able to install using an RPM? The RPM builds fine, but when
I try to runserver I get a python import error. Install completes without
error.

(venv-superset)[ec2-user@ip-10-120-10-143 ~]$ sudo yum reinstall
superset-0.20.1-1.noarch.rpm
.
.

Running transaction

  Installing : superset-0.20.1-1.noarch

  Verifying : superset-0.20.1-1.noarch

Installed:

  superset.noarch 0:0.20.1-1

Complete!

(venv-superset)[ec2-user@mynode ~]$ superset runserver &

Background, I created the RPM using bdist_rpm on a CentOS VM. I tried
adding jinja2 as a dependency in the setup.py but no change. I also tried
installing from the python egg created by bdist_rpm, but I am getting the
same error.
