you need the vm extension. Then, you can use
{code}${project.parent.version}{code} to get the current version of the
project. Then, when we update the site for a new release, you just have to
change the version number in the site's pom.xml file.
I'll fix this right now.

However, I'm not sure we have an APT macro/plugin that's able to auto-substitute the most recent version into the URL? (If we can't, we just need to hard code it + add it to a step in the release docs!)
