Hi Shammi,
Why does it say "No tests executed"? Can't Bamboo see integration tests?
This seems to be case for most of the products. In particular, AS has
integration, and I just verified that is the case, but still it says no
tests executed!

[Dev] What is the use of log method in CarbonTopLevel...

2012-03-24 Thread Prabath Siriwardena
When I login in to the API Provider app, I see following INFO logs..

[2012-03-24 13:49:48,360] INFO - CarbonTopLevel admin
[2012-03-24 13:49:48,381] INFO - CarbonTopLevel http://authentication.services.core.carbon.wso2.org";>true

JSESSIONID=2F3520652112D89C1D1352ED4BAC37C6; Path=/; Secure; HttpOnly

Looks like from somewhere CarbonTopLevel.log() being invoked.. With
this approach aren't we loosing the context of the actual place where
the log needs to be printed..?

Also we need to get rid of above 2nd and 3rd lines of the above logs
and make the first line more meaningful...

I think it can. Bamboo sent a intg tests failure notification for products
like BPS. Our integration tests are executed via surefire plugin anyway!
Seems like a configuration issue to me.

Re: [Dev] Carbon kernel server is not successfully starting up

2012-03-24 Thread Sameera Jayasoma
Hi Azeez,

This error happens because we are trying to set a system property with a
null value. We came across a similar issue while fixing test failure..

If we debug this CarbonBaseActivator, we should be able to find the cause.

Thanks,
Sameera.

Re: [Dev] [Bamboo-Build] WSO2 Carbon > WSO2 BPS > #19 has FAILED. Change made by johann and thilinab.

2012-03-24 Thread Shammi Jayasinghe
Yes, This is due to a configuration issue in bamboo.

With new product plans we modified the way that products build. Earlier we
did a svn check out for each and every product plan.
But it took long time for check out and problem in svn sync with the
platform. So we modified all plans to use the source checked out
for platform plan.

Now it is using the source code we checked out for platform plan. But there
is a configuration problem in the test results directory. Though
it executes all test plans it says that build is failed. That is the reason
for that. I am looking for a solution for this problem.

Thanks
Shammi

[Dev] Issue related generated http binding verb for a data service

2012-03-24 Thread Denis Weerasiri
Hi,
I created a data-source and it uses following configuration to RESTify the
data service.

I used stratoslive data services and the a stratoslive RSS database.

The problem I have is, whether the generated verb for http binding [1] is
correct as I configured it to be *GET*.

Re: [Dev] What is the usage of the Doc links in GReg service UI?

2012-03-24 Thread Senaka Fernando
Hi Amila,

That is to provide additional documentation related to a service. It was
decided to give people up to three entries by default, and if they want
they always can change it. There is no concept of dynamic rows for types
other than option-text, a problem that RXT 2.0 will address with its
Jaggery-based UI.

Thanks,
Senaka.

Hi Amila,

Adding more, if you need to add a dynamic rows based solution to add
documents, I believe the ideal solution is to have another artifact type to
define documents(using configurable governance artifacts) and linking the
document artifact to the service artifact(like what we are doing for
WSDLs). I believe this method can be used with the existing RXT
implementation.

Thanks,
Janaka

Re: [Dev] Ground works for Admin Service porting - Ability to deploy a bundle as a JAX-WS service.

2012-03-24 Thread Isuru Suriarachchi
There are few points to consider here..

We've dropped Axis2 JAX-WS feature from AS and added CXF for JAX-WS
support. So I think both these internal usages of JAX-WS (G-Reg UDDI, Admin
services) should be moved on to CXF.

Sagara, I've already looked into supporting CXF services as OSGi bundle.
But that won't get into Carbon 4.0.

Senaka, we've still kept Axis2 JAX-WS libraries in Carbon such that we can
use it for internal usages until we convert everything into CXF. AS Axis2
JAX-WS samples are still working properly on trunk. So it's not totally
busted :). However there can be some dependency problem in G-Reg and we can
have a look into it and fix it. But as Sagara said, that doesn't mean the
Axis2 JAX-WS is totally busted..

Thanks,
~Isuru

Why is the dashboard looking for tab0? This [1] is what gets copied to

This is fixed now. Somebody seems to have changed the source location of
the cassandra-auth.xml in the p2.inf of cassandra-mgt ui feature causing
issues while copying the aforementioned file into the distribution. I've
corrected this issue and committed the changes to the trunk.

Re: [Dev] [WSO2-DSS] - HTTP DELETE/PUT are not allowed to access a Data Service

2012-03-24 Thread Anjana Fernando
Hi Denis,

No this is not the expected behavior, this works properly in the standalone
product, and as Azeez mentioned this has to be a Stratos specific issue,
maybe the LB is not letting these type of requests through? ..

Cheers,
Anjana.

Re: [Dev] [WSO2-DSS] - HTTP DELETE/PUT are not allowed to access a Data Service

2012-03-24 Thread Afkham Azeez
No the LB lets all requests pass through. There was a patch to the
MultitenantMessageReceiver sometime ago. I think that has broken REST in
Stratos.
