Re: [Dev] WIP User Stories and Wire-frames for AppFactory : Update

2013-05-31 Thread Senaka Fernando
Hi all,

Sorry couldn't keep up with this thread. If there aren't gone to be that
many buttons in red, and if we have other higher priorities we can leave
this at it. But, I need to point out that a shade of red does give that
sense. For example, if you take a look at Google UIs (Gmail, Docs, Search
etc), you'll see how much of effort they've put into making things look
neat and consistent. Colour does play a major role in it.

Thanks,
Senaka.

IMHO, that sounds like something went wrong and some immediate action is
needed. Seeing a lot of red coloured buttons in the build UI gives the
feeling that a lot of things has gone wrong in the past.

[Dev] (APPFAC-987) Default Application must be removed from API Store

2013-05-31 Thread Punnadi Gunarathna
I am going to remove the 'DefaultApplication' item from Application drop
down in API manager
in App Factory.

The approach i thought is to call the removeApplication action in
store/site/blocks/application/application-remove/ajax/application-remove.jag
from App Factory org.wso2.carbon.appfactory.apimanager.integration
component by passing the 'DefaultApplication' as the application parameter.

Please let me know if there is any issue if i remove this
DafaultApplication from API Manager.

2013-05-31 Thread Sumedha Rubasinghe
We added this to API Manager so that users don't have to perform the
additional step of creating an application.
Is this due to AF already creating an application programmatically?

This is only the build page. But realistically, we will be hiding all
Build and Deploy buttons for Apps that are not in development. So will not

This shade of read doesn't give the "something went wrong", at least to

Since that is a BAM build, maybe they commented out APIM??

As a workaround I commented out the product builds - since we only need
4.1.2 components/features. I hope this is ok.

Re: [Dev] (APPFAC-987) Default Application must be removed from API Store

2013-05-31 Thread Punnadi Gunarathna
hi Sumedha,

In App Factory, when we create an application and if it requires to
subscribe to an API, then that application will be displayed in Application
dropdown in API-M.
But App factory does not have any default applications named
'DefaultApplication'. Therefore it is not required in API-M front as well.

Re: [Dev] WIP User Stories and Wire-frames for AppFactory : Update

2013-05-31 Thread Praveena Sarathchandra
I feel that red is overdone on "Builds and Repositories"--we can show the
red buttons only when mouse hovers a particular row. Also, using the color
red for all the buttons gives a feeling that all of them share the same
priority. Red is best suited for Call-to-action buttons and the rest can be
more lighter, less prominent (ex: a light gray)

 Hi,

I had forgotten about the buttons being disabled / enabled based on
permissions - so we will not see all these buttons at once.

Given that we were adviced to keep the red in other areas to indicate
primary buttons and that we are in critical path to get the pages ASAP
 there will be no change.

 Thank you,

The page lists multiple versions and multiple possible actions: there's no
single, primary goal/task of this page. Information the given on the page
have almost equal importance as the actions; so the buttons shouldn't grab
all the attention by being in primary colors.

 in App Factory.

The approach i thought is to call the removeApplication action in
 store/site/blocks/application/application-remove/ajax/application-remove.jag
 from App Factory org.wso2.carbon.appfactory.apimanager.integration
component by passing the 'DefaultApplication' as the application parameter.

Please let me know if there is any issue if i remove this
 DafaultApplication from API Manager.

Hi,

Please find the $subject at
https://svn.wso2.org/repos/wso2/scratch/Identity-Server-4.5.0/M1/

This is a milestone build from trunk after merging IS 4.1.1 improvements to
trunk and fixing blocking issues related to tenant mgt, UI, jax webapps
changes etc..

Currently the team is working on new features including following and bug
fixes...
- User Mgt configuration UI - Pushpalanka
- Authenticator framework for OpenID, SAML2SSO, OAuth login - Ishara
- New Permission API - Venura
- Statistics for Identity Features - Darshana

Branching will be done after the feature freeze.

ChamathG, since you are getting familiarized with user.core code base, can
you please test multiple user store feature and provide fixes as patches if
any issues found?

Thanks,
Hasini.

Re: [Dev] 4.1.2 Build Error am-p2-profile

2013-05-31 Thread Ravi Undupitiya
For some reason the feature
org.wso2.carbon.stratos.common.server.feature-2.1.2.zip file does not
contain
features/org.wso2.carbon.stratos.common.server_2.1.2/conf/identity.xml - I
manually replaced this and got it working.

The same thing was done for tenant-mgt.xml which was also missing from the
feature zip.
