Re: [Dev] Major performance issues POX Security Handler

2013-08-22 Thread Ishan Jayawardena
Hi Kasun,
I experienced a related issue while running the integration tests. Please
see the log below.
In this case I am trying to send multiple requests to an HTTPS endpoint in
parallel. According to the jira ticket a patch seems to have been applied
but I get this error in the latest build. Any idea?

Re: [Dev] Old GS 1.X based dashboard / gadget rendering is now deprecated/retired

2013-08-22 Thread Balakrishnan Gokulakrishnan
+1, the BAM gadget gen tool uses the GS-based dashboard component, and we
are also planning not to ship it any longer. As is reported elsewhere we
too are planning to use the UES portal for generating gadgets from the next
release onwards.

2013-08-22 Thread Amani Soysa
Hi,

This is fixed now. I have removed the cartridge related components from the
stratos pom for the moment as we are merging 4.1.3 to 4.2.0 and trunk. Will
update the thread once its done.

 Hi Devs,

 1) We need to categorize all the features that are shipped with a
particular product. I've done this for AS[1]. Like wise we need to come up
feature categories for other products, specially for IS, G-REG and ESB for
 4.2.0 release.

 2) Once you have categorized the list of features, you can create
relevant nested features as we've done the AS[2].

 3) Then you need up the P2 repository pom.xml [3]

 Thanks,
 Sameera

[Dev] [Architecture] Developer Studio 3.3.0 Milestone 3 Released !

2013-08-22 Thread Susinda Perera
Hi All,

We have WSO2 Developer Studio 3.3.0 Milestone 3 ready to be downloaded at
[1]. Installed eclipse distributions available at [2]

This release includes following improvements and bug fixes.

Bugs

   - [TOOLS-1851 ] - Cannot put
   sequence in out only proxy
   - [TOOLS-1852 ] - Cannot give
   xml body for Header Mediator
   - [TOOLS-1857 ] - Auto
rearranging is not working for complex mediators such as switch filter
   - [TOOLS-1858 ] - Existing
mediators are not aligned properly when a mediator is deleted from Sequence
   Editor
   - [TOOLS-1861 ] - Initial sizes
of complex mediators(throttle, switch, filter) are different

Improvements

   - [TOOLS-1864 ] - Introduce
different border colors for different branches of Switch, Filter and
   Throttle mediators

Sub-tasks

   - [TOOLS-1773 ] - Add new set
of icons with names within the icon.
   - [TOOLS-1779 ] - Reduce the
initial size of the editor/complex mediators/sequence/api and expand it as
   items are added
   - [TOOLS-1789 ] - When xslt is
selected folder name is not changed to xslt in the registry path (it
   remains in ‘endpoint/’)
   - [TOOLS-1796 ] - Use different
   icon for API Resource
   - [TOOLS-1797 ] - When creating
enrich mediator with source type “inline” and use local entries, source
   view become empty
   - [TOOLS-1799 ] - In log
mediator, when adding properties, the table header order “name | type |
value” is preferred instead of “ name | value | type ”
   - [TOOLS-1805 ] - Resource
property view, url template field appears above the url style filed
   - [TOOLS-1808 ] - When switch
mediator is used in the outSequence case and default are switched
   - [TOOLS-1811 ] - Remove the
separator attribute (set by default) from log mediator
   - [TOOLS-1820 ] - Nodes pallet
has to be renamed either API or suitable name, currently nodes confuses
   customer.
   - [TOOLS-1831 ] - Rearrange the
order of the properties of the Property mediator

Your feedbacks are most welcome. Please report issues at [3] and specify
the affect version as 3.3.0 M3.

 Hi all,

thank you for the announce. I hope the final is close :)

For the record, I have just tried the first sample and found some error
 on a win32 setup :
 org.wso2.carbon.utils.ServerException: Repository location
 '/../samples/cep-samples/artifacts/s1/' not found!
CEP seems to look for 's1' directory in
 '/samples/cep-samples/artifacts/' where there is a '1'
 directory instead.

For now I have not succeeded in reaching the documentation at
 http://docs.wso2.org/wiki/display/CEP300/*

  cheers,
 Cyril Rognon

Re: [Dev] [Architecture] Old GS 1.X based dashboard / gadget rendering is now deprecated/retired

2013-08-22 Thread Senaka Fernando
Hi all,

Having something that is not working in the upcoming release is not useful.
Also, if we are to fix this, it is a separate effort to get the whole
dashboard working for 4.2.x. Also, since we'll be moving the Jaggery-based
UIs in the future, I don't think its worth to invest time in fixing the
dashboard which anyway has just a few gadgets OOTB. We should however,
document alternatives to those who are interested where they could
interface UES or BAM with G-Reg (depending on the situation) to create
similar or more powerful dashboards for G-Reg.

Thanks,
Senaka.

 Hi All,

I just wanted to note that old GS 1.x based dashboards and the gadget
repository is now deprecated and retired. We no longer be able to
support/upgrade it to latest platform versions/functionality.

If any product needs a dashboard, we have a cleaner way of doing it
using UES based dashboards. You can still use the gadgets you were using in
the old dashboard, but not the gadget rendering based on the dashboard.ui
 carbon UI component.

 /Nuwan

fixed the tests-governance-api module test by downgrading testng version to
6.1.1 from 6.8. Now all tests(59) are passed in tests-governance-api. module.
will work on tests-new to fix the test failures.

Re: [Dev] [API-M] How do we encrypt the keystore password kept in site.json

2013-08-22 Thread Nuwan Bandara
Hi Prabath,

We can use the same way we are doing using secure vault. We can callback
class and return the actual password for a alias. and we put the alias in
the site.json. when we process the site.json, we have to call the class
from jaggery and get the password.

var config = require('site.json');
var realPassword = Packages.com.nuwan.vault.
HardCodedSecretCallback.getPassword(config.password);

Regards,
/Nuwan

Re: [Dev] [Identity OAuth2] Invalid response when invoking Token API

2013-08-22 Thread Nuwan Dias
Hi,

The reason for the original issue was that the response message was getting
built within the Gateway. This happened due to an issue in caching. Earlier
the cache timeout was always 0 but now it was getting set to 6. This
caused the CacheMessageBuilderDispatchandler in the mediation initializer
to think that caching was enabled and hence built the response message.

Pradeep fixed the original issue in caching and the cache timeout is back
again at 0 and hence the issue will no longer appear.

Thanks,
NuwanD.

[Dev] Can't log in to the tenant users which are created on secondary user store

2013-08-22 Thread Suneth Ranasinghe
Hi,

I have tried to login to a tenant user which is created on a JDBC,
secondary user store, but it doesn't allow the user to login though I have
assigned login permission to that user. When I log back as tenant admin, I
have seen that the secondary user store has dropped from the tenant.

Issue reproduced with the latest (21st of Aug.) IS pack.

and the publisher.

You need to update the jaggery code appropriately at the publisher/store

2013-08-22 Thread Isuru Udana
Ok for now I will apply your stub changes again to fix the build issue.

 Hi Ratha,

Did you able to resolve this issue ?
If not please revert your changes until you find a proper solution for
 this.
This has become a absolute blocker for us.
Because of this issue we were using a patched pack and reverting some
commits locally for last couple of days and we cannot live with that
 anymore.
Please do your changes in a way that no functional breaks at the ESB
 level.

Re: [Dev] Compilation error in org.wso2.carbon.sequences.ui - 4.2.0 branch

2013-08-22 Thread Vijayaratha Vijayasingam
@ isuru;
The fix for this now AFAIK;

   - Fix axis2 side issue
   - Or change admin service parameters to OMelement-->string

But seems we are not going to do any of the above..
So, i'll try to edit older wsdl manually to insert my new operations..

thanks..

 org.wso2.carbon.sequences.ui/4.2.0

 btw Vanji,
please review the commit at the sequence-editor module which has
been broken due to some of the latest changers prior to my commit,
 anyway
please check why it returns object instead of OMElement, you have the
 best
reason since you worked for this module recently..
