[Dev] [ES] Enabling self sign-up for tenant stores
Hi, I am working on $Subject[1]. So far we can only register to carbon.super domain using the SSO login page in ES. But, it is required to allow user to register via SSO login/register page to tenant domains as well. I would appreciate your suggestions on how can I achieve this domain qualified login and registration. Is this implemented in other WSO2 products like APIM and how? [Dev] [DEV] Supporting IoT hub architecture via Node implementation
Hi, There is a Node server which acts as a hub among devices, clients and WSO2 API Manager. As of now the Client is able to, 1. sign up 2. login 3. add applications 4. subscribe to applications 5. get the access token from API Manager through Node server. When adding an application, client is able to configure how devices are arranged and that configuration file should be sent to the node server with a client request. Then Node server reads that file and generates a REST API with respect to the relevant client. I did the first part of this implementation. Now a client can do all those operations which were mentioned above except REST API generation part. Here is the code repository[1] what I did so far. Re: [Dev] [G-Reg 5.0.0] Retrieving data related to governance artifacts
Hi Ajith, Above artifacts treating as content artifacts. Ok, point taken. So proper way is , take the resource from the governance artifact then check the media type from that resource. Problem is retrieved governance artifact does not contain a reference to the related registry resource. Therefore in order to get the media type of the related governance artifact of given content artifact types, I have to retrieve registry resource using registry.get(path), and call resource.getMediaType() on retrieved registry resource. This results in an additional registry call. Isn't it, better to have media type parameter with the content artifacts, like in other generic artifacts? Thank you, SameeraK. -Ajith On Thu, Jan 1, 2015 at 5:05 AM, Sameera Kannangara samee...@wso2.com wrote: Hi all, When retrieving governance artifacts of types, application/wsdl+xml application/x-xsd+xml application/policy+xml application/vnd.wso2.endpoint via governanceUtils.retrieveGovernanceArtifactByPath(), returned governance artifact does not contain the respective media type. All generic artifact types other than above four, contain their respective media types. Is this the expected behavior for artifacts of above four media types? Reason I'm asking this is, when retrieving governance artifacts for dependency graph generation of impact analysis feature, media type of the artifact is needed to determine the icon to be displayed for the artifact. Please note that respective media type is available for the registry resource relevant for the governance artifact. As we are retrieving governance artifacts to generate the dependency graph and graph generation process needs properties associated with the artifact to create the graph, process have to retrieve registry resource associated with the governance artifact to get necessary properties. Is there a better way to retrieve properties related to a governance artifact? [Dev] Design and implementation of ghost deployer test cases for WSO2AS
Hi All, I am working on $subject which will be track through JIRA TA-591 https://wso2.org/jira/browse/TA-591. Ghoest deployer will be test on WSO2AS and test scenarios will be based on this document https://docs.google.com/a/wso2.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlTtjx4c_xVpdE10YTliWklBZEpkNnVjaGN3cTFkdmcusp=drive_web#gid=0 New web-app will be created to provide the information about load and unload status of tenats. This web-app will be deployed before the test. Test integration layer can access this web-app via REST call and get the necessary informations. [Dev] [AF][SS] RSSAdminService method 'isDatabaseUserExist' requires the full database username with
Hi, I'm working on APPFAC-2723 and there is a requirement to check whether a user is already created in storage server. In RssAdminService there is a method to check whether a database user exists. Issue with this method is, there has a hashed tenant domain value appended to the username once we create a databaseuser, and it requires the full name (with the appended value) to check the user existence. Isn't it the RSSAdmin service responsibility to append the hashed value and perform the search?. For now I can use a try catch block in the jaggery layer and handle the duplicate user creation exception. AppFactory_Resource_DB has this full user name and perform isDataBaseuserExist operation. However this method always resurns false because we haven't passed the appended hashed value with the username. Shall we remove this isDataBaseUserExist method from the ResourceManger and use try catch approach to check the user existence? Regards, -- *Anuruddha Premalal* Software Eng. | WSO2 Inc. [Dev] [ESB] Refresh Proxy UI after adding new mediator
Hi All, I am developing a new mediator for ESB, ForEach Mediator and have successfully have it working in an ESB snapshot. The behavior of the UI is somewhat similar to Iterate Mediator, where at the time of saving the configurations for the mediator, a target is automatically added to the ForEach Mediator. However, in this case, although the target is added, it is not visible in the Design View, until it is refreshed (by another event like adding/removing another mediator). How do I fix this to refresh the UI at the time of saving? When i try to edit the asset and update, a prompt is displayed showing unable to update asset. The following is logged in the console [2015-01-05 12:49:39,957] ERROR {rxt.core} - Unable to locate assetResources for tenant: -1234 and type: [2015-01-05 12:49:39,957] ERROR {assets_api_router} - Unable to locate assetResources for tenant: -1234 and type: Is this shown because i do not have the adequate privileges to edit the asset? In that case, i did try creating a new asset as an admin and tried to edit, update the asset and i encountered the same error message. This is encountered when changing any of the asset values or attaching a different thumbnail. Why is this error prompted? I am using ES 2.0 snapshot. Thank you.
