Re: [Dev] Maven Build for Application Server 6.0

2015-12-04 Thread Miraj Abeysekara
Hi Kishanthan,

Are there any specific folder structure which I follow when adding the
custom configuration files to the build?

Currently the configuration files are copied from
*{AS_DEV_HOME}/extensions/conf/* directory to  *{AS_HOME}/conf/app-server/*
directory after the build.

Thanks.

Hi Miraj,

This is a good starting point and your are on the right path. Next steps
are to see how to use our own tomcat configuration files, integrate our own
extensions developed for tomcat and pack them with AS/Tomcat distribution
with the build.

It's better to use @dev for these type of mails.

[Dev] Where to add Tomcat related code in carbon 3.2.3?

2015-12-04 Thread Madhawa Gunasekara
Hi All,

I have a requirement to backport some carbon 4.x.x code into carbon 3.2.3.
Those 4.x.x codes are currently available in org.wso2.carbon.ui component.
So AFAIU. In carbon 3.2.3 we have placed tomcat related code
(org.wso2.carbon.tomcat component) in outside of the plugins folder. it is
in CARBON_HOME/libs folder. Therefore AFAIU It's in tomcat classpath. not
in carbon classpath.
So I think there is a huge architectural difference in 3.2.3 and 4.x.x.
Therefore is it fine to add tomcat related code into org.wso2.carbon.tomcat
component ?

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Madhawa

Hi Chamara,

You could monitor that through the TCP traffic. Ports can be found at [1].
Please look into the APNS ports section.

Great work Nishadi and Malmee!

Will arrange another code review once you are done with the current
implementation. Please try to use mark down text format for the README file
and write a Wiki page in the documentation describing how to use this tool
for migration. Might be better to include few screenshots.

Thanks

Re: [Dev] [EMM] Exception when installing ios p2-repository in EMM

2015-12-04 Thread Chamara Ariyarathne
In the above issue a CNF occurs while installing iOS features because the
feature installation itself deploys the webapp which needs the features
being installed.
This is explained in the last comment by Geeth.

https://wso2.org/jira/browse/EMM-1039

What are the possible solutions we have in the carbon platform to handle
such scenarios?

Re: [Dev] PMML Siddhi Extension throws Exception

2015-12-04 Thread Supun Sethunga
Seems like dataType attribute is not a mandetory according to pmml 4.2.1
spec schema [1]. We may have to improve the code to create the attributes
of the output stream, even if the data type is not defined in the pmml.
(like, always cast to string if the data type is unknown/not-defined
etc..). Shall we create a jira for tracking?

Re: [Dev] PMML Siddhi Extension throws Exception

2015-12-04 Thread Fazlan Nazeem
Hi Supun,

That was the issue. I added dataType attribute and specified it as "double"
in the OutputField and was able to fix the issue. This PMML model was
handed over to us by a customer who used the PMML package in R. I wonder
why the attribute went missing.

Thank you for the help.

Re: [Dev] A script to invoke JMX operations on Metrics Manager MBean in a WSO2 server

2015-12-04 Thread CD Athuraliya
Thanks Isuru for this script! We could easily enable and disable Carbon
metrics reporting through a bash script (when running warm-up samples).

Regards,
CD

[Dev] PPaaS Artifact Migration Tool

2015-12-04 Thread Nishadi Kirielle
Hi All,

Currently,we are engaged in developing an artifact migration tool to be
used to fetch the artifact json files from PPaaS 4.0.0 REST API endpoints
and convert them to be compatible with PPaaS 4.1.0. [1]

We have implemented the conversions for the following artifacts ;
   - auto scale policy artifacts
   - network partition list artifacts
   - deployment policy artifacts
   - cartridge artifacts

Now we are implementing the conversion of cartridge subscription artifacts
to application signups and domain mapping subscriptions.

Please raise if there are any concerns regarding this work.

Re: [Dev] PMML Siddhi Extension throws Exception

2015-12-04 Thread Supun Sethunga
Can you try putting a debug point to [1] and see what is null? looks like
evaluator.getOutputField(field).getDataType()resolve to null.

And in the PMML model:

Doesn't seems to have a dataType attribute. Probably thats the issue..

[Dev] PMML Siddhi Extension throws Exception

2015-12-04 Thread Fazlan Nazeem
Hi,

I am in the process of using a PMML model in CEP to predict using an event
stream. I have written a sample execution plan to do it, but when
validating the plan, a null pointer exception is thrown[1]. (Siddhi PMML
extension is installed)

@Import('inputStream:1.0.0')
define stream inputStream (RegionCat string, TitleCat string, RLMaxTitle
string, Act1_rate double, Act2_rate double, Act3_rate double, Act4_rate
double, Act5_rate double, Act6_rate double);

@Export('outStream:1.0.0')
define stream outStream (RegionCat string, TitleCat string, RLMaxTitle
string, Act1_rate double, Act2_rate double, Act3_rate double, Act4_rate
double, Act5_rate double, Act6_rate double, ResponseAccountName double);

from inputStream#pmml:predict('/home/fazlann/Downloads/logistic.pmml')
select *
insert into outStream;

Any idea on what's the issue?
