[Dev] WSO2 API Manager Tooling 3.2.0-Beta is Released!

2020-07-13 Thread Naduni Pamudika
The WSO2 API Manager team is pleased to announce the release of version
3.2.0-Beta of API Manager Tooling.

The WSO2 API Manager tooling or the WSO2 API Controller (APICTL) is a
command-line tool for managing API Manager environments, listing APIs, API
products and applications, and creating API projects. It also provides the
capability to import and export APIs, API products and Applications across
multiple environments seamlessly. Hence it provides greater flexibility to
create CI/CD pipelines for APIs, API products and applications.

Apart from migrating APIs, API products and applications, it supports
Kubernetes API operator to deploy and manage APIs in the Kubernetes cluster
by reducing additional overheads for the DevOps.

Major features in this release include supporting delete APIs, API products
and applications in an environment, supporting API life-cycle status
change, providing ability to configure multiple endpoints, and the search
functionality when listing APIs and applications in an environment.

[Dev] API Operator for Kubernetes 1.2.0-alpha is Released!

2020-07-13 Thread Pubudu Gunatilaka
*The WSO2 API Manager team is pleased to announce the release of version
1.2.0-alpha of API Operator for Kubernetes.*

As microservices are increasingly being deployed on Kubernetes, the need to
expose these microservices as well documented, easy to consume, managed
APIs is becoming important to develop great applications. The API operator
for Kubernetes makes APIs a first-class citizen in the Kubernetes
ecosystem. Similar to deploying microservices, you can now use this
operator to deploy APIs for individual microservices or compose several
microservices into individual APIs. With this users will be able to expose
their microservice as managed API in Kubernetes environment without any
additional work.
