Re: [Dev] [Architecture] [VOTE] Release WSO2 Streaming Integrator 1.1.0-RC2

2020-08-05 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
Hi Rukshani,

With Streaming Integrator 1.1.0 release, we have reduced the number of
extensions that ships in default distribution in order to make it more
cloud-native. Siddhi-execution-unique is also one of the extensions which
we exclude due to that reason.

But you can install additional extensions like Siddhi-execution-unique
following the documentation below[1].
For now, few execution extensions cannot be installed using
*extension-installer
*but this also will be supported in the feature releases.

2020-08-04 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
Hi Chamath,

Thank you for pointing this out. Please refer to the document mentioned
here[1] in order to migrate from SI 1.0.0.
We don't have documentation comparing the performance with SI 1.0.0 since
we don't have a huge performance gap between SI 1.0.0 and 1.1.0. But the
following document[2] contains the performance details for a few common
streaming integrator usecases.

Re: [Dev] Siddhi Store Redis - update or insert into table (on Redis) won't work

2018-11-26 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
Hi Bathyar,

I have analyzed the provided logs and the output of *HGETALL *command*. *By
looking at the *HGETALL* output, it seems like you have updated the
record's primary key field as well. In siddhi store Redis implementation we
cannot update the primary keys since when we mapping the relational values
to Redis, we use primary key as a main pillar of the mapping. So, when you
update the primary key, functionalities will break afterword. So could you
please check your implementation and make sure you are not updating the
primary key after creating a record.
If you can provide the complete siddhi app and a sample data set(csv
perhaps), we can simulate the scenario in our and provide you with a
solution.

Thank You,
Anusha.

Re: [Dev] Siddhi Store Redis - update or insert into table (on Redis) won't work

2018-11-24 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
Hi Bathiyar,

We followed up the above scenario and we could not observe any issues
related to Redis "update of insert" process. In Redis implementation, if
the given command is "update or insert", we will create a HashSet according
to our mapping in Redis side, if it exists, the old one will get updated
with the new values.
In order to exactly identify the issue could you please share the log
output of the "ThresholdTableStream " stream from above execution plan.

Thank You,
Anusha

[Dev] PySiddhi 1.0.0 Released !

2018-04-18 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
PySiddhi 1.0.0 Released!

WSO2 Analytics team is pleased to announce the release of version 1.0.0 of
PySiddhi

PySiddhi is a Python Wrapper for Siddhi Library. The PySiddhi supports
Siddhi 4.x.x. A REST Client is also integrated to interact with WSO2 Stream
Processor 4.x.x.

You can download PySiddhi through python package management system by
running

> pip install pysiddhi4

How to Use

1. PySiddhi is depending on Cython. You can install Cython using the
following command

> pip install cython

2. Download siddhi-sdk distribution from
https://github.com/wso2/siddhi-sdk/releases

3. Extract downloaded siddhi-sdk zip and set the SIDDHISDK_HOME path to
siddhi-sdk directory.

4. Download the siddhi-python-api-proxy-4-1.0.0.jar from
https://github.com/wso2/PySiddhi/releases and copy to /lib
directory.

5. Use the Library using Python.

from PySiddhi4.core.SiddhiManager import SiddhiManager
> sm = SiddhiManager()
>
> sm.shutdown()

*Refer samples to get more familiar with library functionality[1].

Re: [Dev] [GSOC 2017][CEP]Video Scene Detection with WSO2 CEP

2017-03-16 Thread Anusha Jayasundara
Hi Danuka,

Thank you for your interest in WSO2 and also the project. You can call us
by our first names.

The objective of this project is to implement a Java base object/event
detection system with WSO2 CEP. The project will also investigate on the
effective usage of Tensorflow for object/event detection. Finally, the
project will do an evaluation of the accuracy of the video scene detection
by comparing results with few standard video benchmark datasets such as
TRECVID.

Please go through the following links to get you familiarized with the
Tensorflow technology which we will use in this project. Final link [5]
will be help full to get an idea about what is event detection. Feel free
to ask if you need anything in particular.
