Re: [Dev] Error While installing MySql for BugZilla .

2015-05-20 Thread Vanii Thiyagarajah
No.Normally Mysql is working fine.I have installed bugzilla and try to fine
the apiUrl of bugzilla for connector review.When I have configured the
mysql for the bugzilla. I got this error. Now I resolved that the issue
just now. In local config file I have commented *$db_pass = 'root';* because
of this error occurred.

[Dev] Error While installing MySql for BugZilla .

2015-05-19 Thread Vanii Thiyagarajah
Hi,

I'm trying to get url of Bugzilla. I've installed all necessary and most
optional Perl modules.When I run the checksetup.pl, I get the [1] following
error

[1]Errorlog

Reading ./localconfig...

Checking for DBD-mysql (v4.001)ok: found v4.025

There was an error connecting to MySQL:

  Access denied for user 'bugzilla'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

This might have several reasons:

* MySQL is not running.

* MySQL is running, but there is a problem either in the

  server configuration or the database access rights. Read the Bugzilla

  Guide in the doc directory. The section about database configuration

  should help.

* Your password for the 'bugzilla' user, specified in $db_pass, is

  incorrect, in './localconfig'.

* There is a subtle problem with Perl, DBI, or MySQL. Make

  sure all settings in './localconfig' are correct. If all else fails, set

  '$db_check' to 0.

I've followed the installation instructions for Bugzilla in the doc[1].I
can log

into MySQL with the username and password I've set in localconfig, and

I've set up the bugzilla user as defined in the Bugzilla installation

instructions

[2]http://askubuntu.com/questions/61935/how-do-i-install-bugzilla

Has anyone seen this error and know what it means and how to resolve

it?

Thanks,

[Dev] Bugzilla ./testserver.pl failing

2015-05-15 Thread Vanii Thiyagarajah
Hi All,

I am reviewing the Bugzilla connector.I have installed the Bugzilla and to
get the api url I have made the following configuration in apache2.conf

  AddHandler cgi-script .cgi  .pl
  Options +Indexes +ExecCGI +FollowSymLinks
  DirectoryIndex index.cgi index.html
  AllowOverride Limit FileInfo Indexes Options

when I am running the[1] code I am getting the [2] Error log

[1] *./testserver.pl   http://localhost/bugzilla
*

[2]
vanii@vanii-ThinkPad-T530:/var/www/html/bugzilla$ ./testserver.pl
http://localhost/bugzilla
TEST-WARNING Failed to find the GID for the 'httpd' process, unable
to validate webservergroup.
TEST-FAILED Fetch of images/padlock.png failed
Your web server could not fetch http://localhost/bugzilla/images/padlock.png
.
Check your web server configuration and try again.

What do I need to change in the directory configuration to satisfy the
last test in testserver.pl?

Can anyone give suggestions on this?

[Dev] Fwd: Get end point url of Mailman API 3.0

2015-03-30 Thread Vanii Thiyagarajah
looping to dev

Hi Kevin,
 Thanks. I am struggling to set up mailman on Ubuntu 14.04. I followed the
doc [1]. I already installed python 3.4.3. In this doc " python setup.py
install" did not work for me. Because of this, i couldn't start the
mailman. Can u please guide me to setup?

[Dev] SHA 1 Hashing - error

2014-12-11 Thread Vanii Thiyagarajah
I am implementing the slideshare Connector using slideshare API.

I have to set this to the SHA1 hash of the concatenation of the shared
secret and the timestamp (ts). i.e. SHA1 (sharedsecret + timestamp).

package org.wso2.carbon.connector;

import java.math.BigInteger;
import java.security.MessageDigest;
import java.util.*;
import org.apache.synapse.MessageContext;
import java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException;
import java.security.InvalidKeyException;
import java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException;

import org.apache.synapse.SynapseException;
import org.apache.synapse.mediators.AbstractMediator;

/**
 * Created by vanii on 12/9/14.
 */
public class Encoder extends AbstractMediator {

public static final String sha1Key = "uri.var.sha1Key";

public void generateHash(MessageContext msgctx) throws
UnsupportedEncodingException,NoSuchAlgorithmException, InvalidKeyException {
StringBuilder baseString = new StringBuilder();
MessageDigest md = MessageDigest.getInstance("MD5");

String timeStamp=String.valueOf(System.currentTimeMillis() / 1000);
msgctx.setProperty("uri.var.ts",timeStamp);

String input = msgctx.getProperty("uri.var.sha1Key").toString() +
timeStamp;
md.update(input.getBytes());

String hash = String.format("%032x", new BigInteger(1,
md.digest()));
msgctx.setProperty("uri.var.hash",hash);
}

public boolean mediate(MessageContext msgctx) {
try {
generateHash(msgctx);
} catch (Exception e) {
throw new SynapseException(e);
}
return true;
}
}

I am getting but the response says hashing is not correct.
