[Dev] [Dev Studio] Adding an endpoint by specifying resource key

2015-06-15 Thread Dilini Muthumala
Hi,
This is more of a user-experience related question w.r.t. dev studio 3.7.0.

To add an endpoint by specifying a resource key, we can go to the proxy *source
view* and add the endpoint as follows:

But I couldn't find a way to add this via the *properties view*.

Is editing the source view the only way of $subject?

Thanks,
Dilini

Hi Dilini,

When you select and endpoint in ESB config project, in properties section
under Misc there is a field called Static Reference Key. From there you can
point to the endpoint is your registry resource endpoint.

Thanks,
Tishan

Thanks, Tishan!

As we discussed, Using a "named endpoint" instead of an "address endpoint"
will give this ability of specifying a resource key.
(We cannot simply "transform" an address endpoint into a named one through
the properties view)

Dilini
