Hi Jasintha,

I will join. We did some core level changes to the BPEL editor last time. I
can explain those changes when we meet. You can find applied patches from
here.[1]

Thanks,

Re: [Dev] WSO2 Developer Studio 3.2.0 Released!

2013-07-17 Thread Jasintha Dasanayake
I am trying to resolve this problem without fork the BPEL editor code. Here
I have used BPEL designer binary libs instead of source to developer human
task plugin, which is DevS plugin.

@Thilini, as you suggested can some from the BPS team join with us to
verify above effort it won't take much time

/Jasintha

Actually it is not forking the old version. The thing is that we are still
using the initially forked version. So we have to upgrade to the new
version of BPEL editor as it support with the Eclipse Juno. Eclipse Juno
compatible BPEL editor comes with more enhancements. Therefore there won't
be any lose of existing features and functionalities, but we better make
sure that after we successfully migrate to the new version.

+1 This is a blocker at the moment. It's not practical to switch to an

Developer Studio still uses forked version of Eclipse BPEL editor 0.5.0
version which does not support with Eclipse Juno release. There are few
more releases of Eclipse BPEL editor after 0.5.0 (latest is 1.0.3,
according to [1]). Eclipse BPEL editor 0.8.0 version onwards supports with
Eclipse Juno. I think if we can fork or use the latest stable version of
BPEL editor will solve the most of the issues that we are facing with
Developer Studio BPEL editor.
