Even the though this circle doesn't show up on CI (milestones, different scheduler version here), it does prevent the empty-webapp from starting, because scheduler is now expected, but not present. The background story is that currently, scheduler module depends on magnolia-ui. This is admittedly unfortunate —should be the other way

BackgroundBlossom creates its dialogs on demand when they're needed. Every time a dialog is to be displayed its definition is created from scratch. This allows the dialog creation code to adapt to the current context, for instance who's using it and what content it is being used for. The context is captured by a custom FormDialogPresenter and picked up by the dialog provider. It is therefore impossible to get the definition of a blossom dialog without a context. The definition can only be acquired from the provider when called from the custom FormDialogPresenter.h4. Magnolia 4. 5 .4 In 5.4 the whole registry and provider concept changes. These changes break Blossom because:* There's no longer a getPresenterClass() on the provider. It is instead read directly from the definition, which cannot be acquired. This is done in FormDialogPresenterFactoryImpl and in DialogDefinitionRegistry.* There's no way to register a legacy dialog definition provider. There needs to be a register() method in DialogDefintionRegistry for the legacy provider interface. The method should wrap the legacy interface to adapt it to the new interface. The new provider keeps an in memory representation of the definition which is acquired when the provider is created. This must not happen when registering a legacy provider.In 5.4 TemplateDefinitionRegistry has a backwards compatible register method. It works fine for Blossom because its template definitions are created once at startup and then never changed. Having said that, its design makes it impossible for implementations to have a provider that created the definition on demand.I have implemented very hackish workarounds for these issues and will commit them on branches. We need a proper mechanism to give the hand back to the dialog (refresh, re-evaluate availability) when an error occurs through DialogActionExecutor. Workaround exists (reselect item) so we may as well ignore that glitch? Check formatting in action and test, e.g. missing space around if statement, indentation problem (maybe a tab character in test), unnecessary new line? Currently we have to define mappings (e.g. in the old resources app) for identifying {{ AceEditor }} mode , this .This ticket aims to detect it automatically in {{BasicTextCodeFieldFactory}}, based on the file extension. For this feature to be usable in various apps, we assume the Vaadin {{Item}} has to provide the file name as one of its properties—which name may vary, e.g.:- {{JcrNodeAdapter}} provides it as {{"jcrName"}}- new resources app is currently using {{BeanItem}}, hence providing file name as its {{"name"}} property.

Similarly as a regular PropertyColumnDefinition it gets bound to a vaadin Item's property (not necessarily a JCR adapter), and allows to set icon and/or label for both true and false values. They can be left blank as well.

Moving pages is currently broken on 5.4 master.Drag and drop has no effect, and move actions are disabled when trying to move with the dialog. I was trying to reorder top-level pages. My guess is that it has to do with template availability, or whatever related we do in {{TemplateTypeRestrictionDropConstraint}}
