Title: Message Title Aleksandr Pchelintcev reopened an issue Reopening primarily due to the IsPublishableDeletion class issues: Main issue: name, JavaDoc and the implementation are out of sync: JavaDoc talks about publishing w/out checking the parent activation status I assume class name points to the possibility of publishing deletion (better name is anyway needed, at least IsDeletionPublishable maybe?) Finally: Implementation simply checks that the incoming item id belongs to Jcr This somehow has to be untangled - either JavaDoc should clearly say why the implementation is so permissive and why the class is called that way or the class name should be changed to something more generic (stating that it only checks the relation to JCR). = Also I see in bootstrap file that the old action (IsDeletedRule) is still present - so I assume it will still return false for the deleted pages whose parent isn't activated and the issue isn't solved There is a unit test for the IsPublishableDeletionRule that tests that the rule works for some JCR, but that really doesn't show how it solves the issue described in this ticket - it just shows that the rule that returns true for any Jcr-related item id really does so.. The unit test for issue should involve the action for which you have changed the availability and at least couple of use-cases should be covered. Feel free to ping me in case of any questions.
