Unsigned Packages - Yum/Pk

2010-04-03 Thread Frank Murphy
PackageKit allows a forced install of unsigned pkg.

yu does the following:
Package krb5-libs-1.7.1-7.fc13.i686.rpm is not signed

I know about --nogpgcheck.

But can I edit something to the effect of:
If unsigned don't include.

Probably the f12 version was being inherited into f13 stable. Currently
there is an f13 version in f13 testing. The maintainer can push this
to f13 stable if they want it in the release.

non-responsive maintainer: thomasvs

2010-04-03 Thread Julian Sikorski
Dear all,

it seems like thomasvs became unresponsive. I have filed a bug asking
about python-twisted update [1] on 6th of February. It was then duped by
a similar bug [2] on 23rd of March. I have also emailed Thomas on 26th
of March. None of the queries met any response. Should I initiate the
non-responsive maintainer process?

Regards,
Julian

Non-responsive Maintainer: thias

2010-04-03 Thread Michael Cronenworth
I submitted a bug fix patch for easytag to both upstream and RH BZ[1].
The request is among 11 other[2] outstanding crashing bugs that have not
been responded to in about six months. Upstream is also not responsive
after several e-mail attempts over the past three months.

Does anyone know how to contact Matthias Saou?

Fedora 12: Make Dell machines boot again

2010-04-03 Thread Felix Schwarz
Hi *,

since the last stable kernel update in Fedora 12, a lot of Dell machines
do not boot anymore due to a kernel oops... Of course bugzilla has a
couple of bug reports (e.g. #578217, #579118, #578663, #578590).

There is a known fix/workaround which is already present in CVS
(kernel-2.6.32.10-94.fc12) and a koji build which fixes the issue for
all users. However there's no update in bodhi yet.

Due to the severity of the problem, I'd like to see a push to
updates-testing as soon as possible.
