Current one does. But the one Kevin used for this run on CentOS 5 uses wget.

remote-header-name should be added to /etc/rpmdevtools/curlrc

That'd just break pretty much every github release download in a
slightly different way as far as this check is concerned because their
Content-Disposition header for those seems to prepend the project name

We really need spectool grab the filename which the URL ends with, not
some random other one that a Content-Disposition header might contain
-- I'd say it's far more common for a Content-Disposition header to
change the download name to something else than to fix it to the one
we already specified in the URL, so I won't be adding that option.

It sounds like this is an issue from way back from the tone of this email.

Come on guys we cant keep going back and forth on this. find it sad that
we are.
My opinion is this.
we get funding from these guys. So to some extent I think they ca put in
engineers to assist us when they see a feature that they want in.
I am not commenting on the methods they use.
This is because I actually do not care.

It is open source. Unhappy with something, just fork it and move on. That
is the beauty of it.
No one will come after you cause that is the beauty of the whole thing.

I think we also need to look at deliverables. I usually am not the person
looking at the small details.
For me it is more of deliver and we are all good.
I mean if this needs to be revised I am sure we can have a look at it and
ask them to change it for the community.

this is just my $0.02

thanks.

Re: boost141 and stability of Boost API?

2013-10-05 Thread Denis Arnaud
Hi Dave,

note that Boost-1.48 has been packaged for EPEL 5 and 6, but not yet
approved: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=921134
In case it is useful to anyone, do not hesitate to approve it :)
And if there is more love, we could even embark on the way to package
Boost-1.54 for EPEL... But that is another story.

Kind regards

Denis

Hi Sandro , sorry I don't had time to look into this, but seems over
packages have a package to have just keyrings-filesytem, can't we group
jetring, debian-keyring and ubuntu-keyring in one package and add
keyrings-filesytem as sub package like pacman package does ?

Other thing, what are dependencies of debian-keyring and ubuntu-keyring
to pbuider or perl-Parse-DebControl ?

we still doesn't have rpmdevtools-8.4 packaged for F21 ...
