Mlocate too. I am not sure why is this package required but It tremendously slows down all of my PC(using magnetic disk hard drive). The first thing I do after installing Fedora Worstation is to remove it. 100% agreed. how ever enable an option to automatic enable grub bootloader menu when something went wrong with the boot process, or system crash.
