I think FESCo would like to allow more time for us to convince upstream

Perhaps we could see about getting Dan Walsh to chime in upstream and
help answer questions they have. Any talk about dropping firefox
trademarks or the like is IMHO way premature.

Well, we have the same fallback we've been using since F12, of course -
relax the SELinux policy, again. If the patch doesn't get upstream
that's likely what we'll end up doing, again.

I am a co-maintainer and have made some comments. I don't have an easy way
to try doing builds on x86_64 to try to see if this really is an arch
related issue.

On the kernel side or the squashfs-tools side? If on the tools side,
I updated squashfs-tools just before the git conversion and branch.
That update is mostly better error handling for the xattr changes.
But maybe it will help with the problem.

We need a clear answer by next Tuesday, Alpha Change Deadline or we'll
be blocked on creating the release candidate on Aug 5.

 14. It must be possible to run the default web browser and a terminal
application from the default desktop environment. The web browser must
be able to download files, load extensions, and log into FAS

For that, it must be able to boot with the default configuration... which
currently just isn't the case.
