Thanks guys ! got a Lenovo T410 and things just work great with Fedora 22 .
I ll keep tht list with me as i am planning to get another laptop in future

Hi,

I have been using Linux on X series Lenovo Thinkpads for many years,
X200, X220, X240 and before that IBM A31 & X31
Linux versions include Fedora, Centos, RHEL but I have briefly tried
Ubuntu (successfully).
I develop navigation and mapping software for autonomous marine vehicles
for a living using these computers.
