All I can find is the names of the three past editors of the standard, and a mailing list that seems to be overrun by spam. There doesn't seem to be any body/group that meets regularly to resolve issues and work towards an FHS update. Maybe it is time to set up such a group, e.g., by letting each distro put one representative forward that will discuss and vote on FHS changes on that distro's behalf. I think the group that Lennart worked with is a very encouraging sign that something like this is possible. Just for completeness can I ask if the current info at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/14/html/Storage_Administration_Guide/s1-filesystem-fhs.html and http://www.pathname.com/fhs/ are in fact the latest? If not can someone point to the source of the most current version of the info? Not that I was a big fan of the LSB work (making up standards out of thin air and stuff), but there's at least somebody commited to standards.
