Hmm, for some reason it needed the --cxx11 (--std=c++11) flag which was
removed a couple Fedora releases ago.

Hi Guido,

sending this from my private address, because I won't read my company
email until I return to work next year ;). Please keep me in Cc.

I've retired ardour5 in Rawhide ~6 months ago, see:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ardour5
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ardour5/c/b9aa4cc1507211eb9997f46b2e294fe834fb81c9?branch=master

Nils, if you can give me commit access to ardour6 I can help build the
new version as they are released.

Thanks for helping out! I've added you as a committer.

Meanwhile, I've built the current version 6.5.0 in f33 ...

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-5a9f9cd189

... but wasn't lucky in Rawhide. I haven't found out what the problem
is exactly, but it looks like it's related to the new version of GCC
(usual suspect, heh):

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1661293

What's odd is that I can build from the git sources, only the RPM build
fails... If you have an idea, please let me know.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Yes, Guido, I completely agree that ardour5 should be retired in rawhide
for the reasons you mentioned.
