Self Introduction: Tomáš Juhász

2024-12-04 Thread Tomas Juhasz
Hello everyone,

My name is Tomas, I'm 23 and newly a part of the nodejs maintainers team at
red hat.

I have been a linux user for almost 8 years now and I'm really happy that I
now have the opportunity to help the project.

I originally started using linux because I have learned you can change icon
themes and since then it has been a never ending rabbit hole of discovering
new and interesting ways of using my computer (which are sometimes even
slightly more productive!), going from gui to terminal to using vim and
window managers, learning how to use these tools was my favorite
procrastination method in the past few years.

In the last few years I have been preoccupied with university, during
which we primarily used C and python for various projects, I also had a few
internships where I worked as quality engineer and network support. For
personal projects I primarily use python, but have experimented with almost
everything.

I'm looking forward to working on this amazing project with you all :).

Best regards,
Tomas Juhasz.

Thank you for your offer. I'm taking over few packages from Jakub Hrozek
now and he provides
all the information that I need. So far so good :)

Hi,

My name is Tomáš or Tom for short.

I have worked with linux since Red Hat 3 and Fedora 1 :)
Now I would like to join the community and put some effort into Fedora. We
might have met before on Devconf or Fosdem, eventually in the ZeroMQ
community.
