Unresponsive maintainer: brouhaha / Eric Smith
Hi, (repost as I forgot to cc Eric) I'm trying to contact Eric Smith (FAS: brohaha). I have started the nonresponsive maintainer process because I'm trying to update the WeasyPrint package which requires updating/fixing a few other packages maintained by Eric. This is mostly about: - python-cairocffi - python-pyphen Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770118 Open bugs (I care about): - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1698217 missing dependency, package is completely broken in F30/F31 unless users install dependency manually. - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1419215 not updating the package since 02/2019 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1706066 FTBS in rawhide - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1736478 There are many more open bugs and several users offered becoming co-maintainers but (I think) without success: - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1716555 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1664370 Does anyone know how to contact Eric? Re: Unresponsive maintainer: brouhaha / Eric Smith
Eric: I suspect you are still interested in participating in Fedora and I appreciate that. May I suggest that you give full "admin" co-maintainership much faster. That would enable me an others to resolve many of the bugs. :-) Felix ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org

Unresponsive Maintainer: brouhaha
The maintainer for python-cairocffi has been non-responsive for some time. For example, I opened 1249821 in early August; never received a response; adamw finally did the deed for me. I opened 1273567 in October, and have still not received a single response. 1288627 was opened in early December by someone else, and has not received a response. In October, I requested commit acls to the package so as to resolve these outstanding issues and possibly move things forward in the future. I have not received a response. I opened 1299042 for unresponsive maintainer, and still have not received a response.
