I am saddened to inform the Open MPI developer community of the death of Chris 
Yeoh.

We didn't have much contact with Chris here in the Open MPI community, but we 
did cross paths a few times when Chris contributed a bunch of patches to use 
via his employer (IBM).  Many of those patches still live on in our code base.
