Re: [SailfishDevel] Next meeting on SailfishOS, open source, collaboration: 26-November @ 14:30 UTC
Thanks! As with last week, I may or may not be able to attend, due to timezones. But please do go ahead with that question in my absence, if I can't make it. Should be pretty self-explanatory ... How can we de-risk and decentralize essential infrastructure for Sailfish and Jolla? How can the community help keep Sailfish alive whatever happens to Jolla Inc? Unfortunately no proper way at the moment. Should implement support for that interface at some point, though. Bad hacky way is checking sailfish/text_input/active_layout dconf value and inferring locale from qml file name. No guarantees on keeping it that way and doesn't work with hardware keyboards. ___ SailfishOS.org Devel mailing list To unsubscribe, please send a mail to devel-unsubscr...@lists.sailfishos.org
[SailfishDevel] Determine keyboard locale
Hello list, is there a way to query the locale of the currently used keyboard in QML? Qt.inputMethod.locale.name returns only "C", whatever keyboard is used.
