If this is the case, I suggest that you either let the updater do its job or do a complete reinstall of the SDK. I bit the bullet and did an uninstall and a full reinstall having deleted the SailfishAlpha folder in my home folder directory structure. I'm now seeing lots of these errors in a Konsole window however :- kfilemodule(15749) KDesktopFile::isAuthorizedDesktopFile: Access to ' /home/chris/Sailfish_Git_Projects/GBG_Beertent/GBG_Beertent.desktop ' denied, not owned by root, executable flag not set. I didn't see them before the reinstallation. ___ SailfishOS.org Devel mailing list To unsubscribe, please send a mail to devel-unsubscr...@lists.sailfishos.org

I don't know if this is a big issue, although the extra warnings can be confusing. Those messages do not originate from the SDK code. Out of interest, what is your linux distro and KDE version? I don't know if this is a big issue, although the extra warnings can be confusing. As I'm not seeing them in any Qt Creator windows, I am not too concerned about them. When copying over a database file, I've seeing these messages too :- Soft assert at /home/builder/src/sailfish-qtcreator/src/libs/ssh/sshconnectionmanager.cpp:150 Again, I'm not concerned, more puzzled as to why they're suddenly appearing. Those messages do not originate from the SDK code. Out of interest, what is your linux distro and KDE version? The distro is Mageia 4 - 64 bit and KDE is 4.11 ___ SailfishOS.org Devel mailing list To unsubscribe, please send a mail to devel-unsubscr...@lists.sailfishos.org

As far as I can recall, I have never updated any of the components individually, only through the Creator update mechanism. As I pointed out above, the error manifests itself when trying to run an update through Creator. I can't say I like the idea of a complete reinstall of the SDK to fix a problem. That looks like a Microsoft way of fixing things! Are there no flags representing an update state? I could amend one to force a more major update to resolve the issue instead of the complete reinstall. ___ SailfishOS.org Devel mailing list To unsubscribe, please send a mail to devel-unsubscr...@lists.sailfishos.org

[SailfishDevel] Cover Page Image
I've had an app in development for ages and I've always been able to have an image on the cover page. I've started another app today - created from the template (New File or Project ...) - and using the same code for the cover page, Creator is complaining that it can't find the image. Here's the first bit of code for the cover page. What am I doing wrong / need to check to make this work again? import QtQuick 2.0 import Sailfish.Silica 1.0 CoverBackground { id: coverpage anchors.centerIn: parent Image { id: logo source: images/fuelpad.png anchors.centerIn: parent } For info, the images folder is inside the qml folder so the folder structure is Fuelpad qml cover alongside images, pages and the Fuelpad.qml file. I've searched the mail list since August of last year and nobody seems to have suffered from this problem. Any help appreciated. ___ SailfishOS.org Devel mailing list To unsubscribe, please send a mail to devel-unsubscr...@lists.sailfishos.org
