;) I installed Warehouse from openrepos. I like to do things from the command prompt and dislike the automagic that sometimes happens. Warehouse did in fact add a repository without my knowledge. I found that it could be disabled under user profile (or similar). With the FAQ I can verify that no other unintentional repos is automagically added and I am now ready to update ;) BR Erik Den den 18 mars 2014 klockan 11:09 skrev Andrey Kozhevnikov coderusin...@gmail.com: if you dont know what is openrepos/warehouse - you shouldnt worry :) On 18.03.2014 14:37, Erik Ridderby wrote: Hi, How can I see if I have openrepo enabled and how can I disable it? Warehouse automatically adds only basil repo for Warehouse updates. And you can cancel it: there is remorse popup with 5 seconds delay (Activating self-updates channel popup, at first launch). Warehouse doesnt activate any repository without user action ;) On 18.03.2014 16:22, Erik Ridderby wrote: ;) I installed Warehouse from openrepos. This was done in order to guarantee that tracker can identify the partition uniquely. That is a really, really bad decision. Was there any discussion on together about this idea for working round the tracker bug that it doesn't record media ids along with file names? If so I missed it. So, a tracker bug means that every user now has to deal with stupid directory names and things called UUIDs which they have never heard of? Even I could come up with a better idea with 30 seconds thought: mount the sdcard (if it has more than one partition, choose any one at random -- 99.999% of cards don't have more than one partition) into (say) /home/nemo/sdcard. Tell tracker not to index /home/nemo/sdcard/. Also mount every partition into /media/sdcard/UUID and let tracker index those. Unmount them all on shutdown. Also note that if you have more than one partition then all will be mounted under /media/sdcard/ so there isn't even a guaranteed single partition to begin with ;-) Anyone with sdcards with more than one partition can probably handle dev mode and control the mounting themselves. In any case, the stupid UUID directories should only appear if there is more than one partition. Anyway, this list isn't the right place to work out the solution. If you are unable to successfully configure the account, please visit account.jolla.com and try to reset your password. It is recommended to have the charger connected before attempting to upgrade the device. Update the software If your Jolla is connected to WLAN network, an OS update notification should pop up shortly. If you just can't wait, you can manually trigger an OS update check as follows: 1. Open Settings appGo to System Settings - About Product 2. Pull down the pulley menu and select 'Check for update' 3. Once an OS update notification is received, tap on it and follow the instructions. Do __not__ reboot the device while the OS update installation is in progress. The process takes up to 10 minutes. During the update, the device screen might blank out. You may awaken the display by a short press on the power key to monitor the progress. When the upgrade has completed successfully, you will see the LED light up *red* before the device restarts. In rare circumstances, you may have to try a second time to get through the update successfully.
