Hello,
Unfortunately I need to re-calibrate the TouchScreen without
having to restart the XServer or X-based applications that are
running.
1. I
read that this could be acheived by switching VTs.
2. I
also read Keith's discussion about the X exposing an API to edit
the configuration file and sending an EV_RST event to the device to force
the X to use the recalibrated values. ( http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/pipermail/linux-arm-kernel/2002-March/008081.html)
But I dont know which API call he was referring to. If you have any suggestions
please do let me know.
And
No, I am not very familiar with the TouchScreen Driver.
And
thank you for your response.

All I ask is a chance to prove that money cant make me happy.-----Original Message-----Hello,
The touchscreen calibration routine that I use refreshes the pointercal file. How do I ensure that the Xserver picks up these new values ??

A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true.
