[Development] New Qt 5.9.1 snapshot available
Hi all, We have a new Qt 5.9.1 snapshot available via online installer. It is a separate Qt 5.9.1 node, not as an update to Qt 5.9.0, but will overwrite previous Qt 5.9.1 snapshot. Instructions how to install it here: https://wiki.qt.io/How_to_get_snapshot_via_online_installer Content of the snapshot is based on https://codereview.qt-project.org/197790, delta to Qt 5.9.0 as an attachment. RTA testing is ongoing and excluding fix for https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-61635 Android deployment issue this should be the final Qt 5.9.1 content. So please test the snapshot & report your effort via https://wiki.qt.io/Qt59_release_testing Br, Akseli qt5.git 8318aa7f133f88b42d54965ff36f424f46af1169 Fix builds with examples and namespaces and tests in qtbase 0dd60236848a4f81be9a8c1b46a9e103975fbaee Remove provisioning scripts for platforms not supported anymore 52bfe2a9a8ec1e6988965e94c66a04b4c4e479c4 Enable autotest for macOS 10.12 9b0e908aca19d58a0d6b6eefebeb7e184437ada5 Build examples with MSVC 2015 instead of MSVC 2013 eb58b173e1fcd2f77adc86ee97796eef7a233c74 Enforce MinGW developer build 9bb17a6f8839a2aecb449b595d706ed258419712 Adjust submodule branches 5bc43f0cc3cfe047dcdbe2a293f4ed6885d8a637 Fix Postgresql and Mysql environment variables 7456e028a701ff31f63a465fb8fadca63c453b97 Enable CI tests for Boot2Qt 0358b6d28c6a9a23d4faf7d59a7a1f0f1e2732e1 Remove QNX Windows builds 303d617329ee5b45aa1515404246aef37caee862 Disable tests on macOS 10.10 35057fe4b2e4fd1c11a87cc19d4baf673df9e0ad Clean up windows cleanup script 038d26308151b5e15394b9a63b274278a2456662 Speed up Windows installation of cmake, python, opengl, mysys and Android 999b5f5dd7ab11edbb66342b8ecac68532b1486e Speed up Visual Studio update installation ce47238ed94f3a989c13fef93b037904589910cf Improve Postgresql installation on Windows 982659b081c73d7ed373dd2845d2a926057b0f83 Improve mysql installation ba1a8d62164df4b3e4c5e18f3356fd246ab00334 Provision macOS disable screensaver in current session 5be9b3d2be9d5e0fff1e94fd0c8d5fd52886d30a Add missing ForceDebugInfo -flag for winRT x86_64 builds 8df3b0c7ea04ee2b3f68911a4b3a4ce374d8 Build Windows 10 MSVC2015 x86 on Windows 10 x64 host 60fb73a1ebffda7a77c4e36a5c385a3fbb8a3615 qtremoteobjects has QML plugins 613242b2bfd0da4afae134615c18fef76c5b54ac Add *.pro.user* to .gitignore 5236e08cd4ce66184a20172dc71dea084caf0023 make -skip work with configure -redo qt3d 6310f055965f824f716ccc3fbc99e4209f667635 Add changes file for 5.9.1 01a6bcd086cecef3169e5d79bd72dbb0d1393a0f Update NodeInstantiator's children on parent update c804e393e7b0e66c03ebe5ca3d7c5a246e5fcda8 Doc: typo in definition qmltype ff53707d666cf77b408373cc573e6ff5bc0bd3fb Fix mix up regarding QVariant::isNull() and isValid() 716ef2a1108347c37443c0d68d0e39d684fa75b2 Add missing private export macros 6263af19264a4d2cb9b0f2ae6d5801438204c601 Pick the right type for QVariant channel targets 86148b286b2a562f44ca517c96a1c78d8d0eae31 Add support for linear interpolation in clip json 9c28631440e37444ade0a1e1634d8f4d46bcd4d7 Remove misguided execute permissions from image files d7cf1685706a19e2455e178c52646c8a54b751e5 Fix memory leak in Quick3DNodeInstantiatorPrivate 8155dae53f4b9f9d2c9d198758fe8c636c2e1cd1 Fix and extend animationutils autotest e423907090e2ba1a3f5980b2cbf7e7b4fbc37dfe Add support for animating a QColor 920d2e6e2b28ccf8e29d174b1009ef1e2766345b Implement linear interpolation for animations 166129713819578e7e3a192e8758bc29b200aa92 Fix small memory leak in QRenderAspectPrivate eeb42c08c322fb341d5ced4953c624bf17ff005e Fix small memory leak in GraphicsContext b2ae5770b5fe26672881a38fbb77c0765d360c22 Doc: add basic doc to undocumented classes 842b8fa5ef41135cc58a98e15d56497482dc5619 Remove redundant code in AlphaCoverage/SeamlessCubemap render states 93ea4251c7771f11cf93b47651af3d4ede46d1f2 Fix animation inifinite looping ab0a43e9efba3da95da2ebc7662a1437d5e3a899 Initialize member variable (found by GCC 7) 1a636c7a518d235fc95c822316da4fe640ed7df7 Make render states honor the enabled flag ff6518ebf0bcfe982f4b0e21eb5c3c8d6fc7ea07 Fix GCC 7 warning about case fallthrough e0634ef1eea9db438dd158ce10a19c130cb16249 Normalize Q_ARG to avoid temporary memory allocations 511de6d565920b31a135eef67c3714e0dd073a0e Support setting texture format on QTextureLoader 68c62e3a8e8bc51bf5353aac7b1b9b42ef5e8c59 tst_QGraphicsApiFilter: Use application object 4c9303aa377e45681377997586f0985d5c282bbe Add reference count for backend buffers 95d6847cec8a8c0d5c0013fece507d56c4aee7e6 Fix crash when loading fbx file with embedded textures 7e3f60b499ecf4eb40ede1da5c4ddf5b8a0b265e Fix context sharing in scene2d 1e5c704bf01780302607500144b475e4018f7bc5 Fix container detachments detected by clazy 76c2f63c2c288774e35fd7257ba2d23df6031276 Doc: add doc to undocumented Qt3D classes 1d024678ba16dd979a8c7023b35cdc76db357d37 Fix build with QT_STRICT_ITERATORS 757e26894b5b912bd03ce93b7e538e26f88c9b62 Implement PIMPL for Qt3DWindow

Can you fill us briefly > in on > the status? I just got patch merged to coin master branch which allows Windows 10 x86 MSVC2015 integrations on Windows 10 x64 host. Required provisioning for 32bit desktop builds on Windows 10 x64 host machines has been done already earlier. We still need to update coin production instance and change coin platform configurations on Qt5 but Qt5 5.8 and later 5.9 branch integrations has been already done successfully on background for a while. I would assume allowing MSVC2017 32bit builds on 64bit host is next step but I got last minute autotest failure from qtbase which doesn't occur when building on Windows 10 32bit machine. I need to investigate that before making next patch available. Br, Akseli > > Thanks :) > Simon > > > On 5.
