Re: [Development] [Interest] Qt World Summit 2019 - CfP
Hi Thiago, We will not merge the contributor summit with the world summit. We received too much feedback that such colocation in time is not desirable. Lots of people are busy preparing for the world summit or have trainings and therefore could not really participate on the contributor summit. The other reason is that we do not want to wait until the world summit to discuss(finalize?) the Qt 6 plans. Therefore, we are currently planning a contributor summit for September in Berlin. The exact date and location in Berlin are something we are investigating right now. -- Alex > -Original Message- > From: Development On Behalf Of > Thiago Macieira > Sent: Tuesday, 21 May 2019 17:00 > To: development@qt-project.org > Subject: Re: [Development] [Interest] Qt World Summit 2019 - CfP > > On Tuesday, 21 May 2019 00:54:49 PDT Kai Köhne wrote: > > Hi, > > > > The deadline for submissions indeed got extended to * 2nd of June *... > > which is already end of next week! > > > So feel free to still submit proposals, but hurry up 😊 > > > > https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K7PMKC8 > > Do we have an idea whether the Contributor Summit will be co-located with the > World Summit?
