[development-axapta] How to determine the average cost for a specific product

2004-08-06 Thread Tomas Galdamez

Hi guys,

How can I know (programatically) what is the average cost for a
specific product in general (including all dimensions)?

I found a method InventSum.costPricePcs() but it only works for a
specific dimension.

RE: [development-axapta] Form sort used for what?

2004-08-06 Thread Harry Deshpande

Hi

The questions still unanswered are:
1) Is the sort applied before or after the invoice number is assigned?
i.e.
can this sort influence the number assigned to a journal or does it only
come into effect after each journal has been created (strictly the
prinout)

** The sort cannot influence the number assigned to the journal and the
sort is applied after the invoice number is assigned.

can actually get it to work and maybe who actually uses this in a real
life
situation and if so can you add your input please :)

** Ummm, I do not know anyone who has used it but I can guess of a
scenario...

accounts department prints all the invoices during the night and the
clerk files the invoices in the morning. Now if the invoices are being
filed in alphabetical order (customer code or name) then you would sort
them on that field. If the invoices are being filed in the number
sequence then you will sort them on the number. Stretching things a bit
to use the functionality I guess, cant think of anything else right now.

Regards

Harry

[development-axapta] Info() in RunBaseBatch

2004-08-06 Thread Kaj Birk Olesen

Hi

I have created a class called X which inherit RunBaseBatch.

I am setting the class X to run in the batch-list every 10 minute.
In certain situations I want the user to have some pieces of information to
pop up on the screen and for this purpose I use the command info().

The info() command works OK when I activate the class from the AOT, but when
it run’s from the batch no messages shows up.

Is there anyone who has a solution for this problem ?

Kind regards
KBO

AW: [development-axapta] Info() in RunBaseBatch

2004-08-06 Thread Theissen, Annette

Hi Kaj,

the information will appear in the infolog of the Axapta that executes the
batch jobs, once the batch execution is stopped! I know this doesn't give
you a solution, but at least it helps you to know, where it 'has disappeared
to'.

[development-axapta] QuerryBuildRange: filtering by sum of two fields

2004-08-06 Thread Max Belugin

Hello development-axapta,

when I write

.addRange(fieldNum(InventTrans, CostAmountPosted))
 .value(((InventTrans.CostAmountPosted+InventTrans.CostAmountAdjustment)==0));

Axapta sends to MSSQL the following

((COSTAMOUNTPOSTED + COSTAMOUNTADJUSTMENT) = 1 = ? )

this is wrong and produces SQL parse error

Re: [development-axapta] QuerryBuildRange: filtering by sum of two fields

2004-08-06 Thread Max Belugin
Hello Max Belugin,

, 6  2004 ., you wrote:

MB .addRange(fieldNum(InventTrans, CostAmountPosted))
MB
MB .value(((InventTrans.CostAmountPosted+InventTrans.CostAmountAdjustment)==0));

MB Axapta sends to MSSQL the following

MB ((COSTAMOUNTPOSTED + COSTAMOUNTADJUSTMENT) = 1 = ? )

I've found the solution

(-1*InventTrans.CostAmountPosted!=InventTrans.CostAmountAdjustment)
