Hi 

>From what I can read there must be several writing on this board from
Turkey.

I my self comes from Denmark, but we have an office which now must run
Axapta for General Ledger. 

What is needed for Axapta to be able to fullfill Turkish legislation?
This is not standard? Is the chart of account totally diffrent from
International business economics?

[development-axapta] delivery remainder when item bom was exploded

Dear all,

I have one blanket sales order (parent sales order - 100 unit) and i have one child sales order from that blanket sales order (child sales order - 25 unit ), from which i create from the sales order\function\create relase order and the delivery remainder qty in the quantity tab of the parent sales order was reduced to 75 (100 - 25 unit), and then when we run the BOM explosion for the child sales order from the sales order line\function\explode bom i got that the parent sales order delivery remainder was changed to the previous qty 100 unit.
Is that correct that when we explode the child sales order than the deliver remainder parent qty would be added again ?
*because i have found out that if we got the same order type and we explode it the deliver remainder is correct (will deducted with the child qty)*
Is it possible for us in axapta standard to have a child sales order to be exploded and it don't added the parent deliver remainder qty..??

Are there any un-posted picking list journals for this item? If yes,
post or delete them and the error message will disappear.

 

If there are no un-posted picking list journals then there is a problem
with your database.

'%1' cannot be updated with inventory reference '%2', as inventory
transactions with status '%3', '%4' or '%5' are insufficient."



Method in subject, sums Qty-s of InventTrans records and if the result
is not 0 (zero) it throws this error message. The message is displayed
(in my case) when trying to insert row in ProdJournalBOM table.



The only way i was able to avoid this message, was to clear the values
InventTrans.TransChildRefId and InventTrans.TransChildRefType for all
rows in InventTrans table that had the same InventTransId (same
InventTransId as in ProdJournalBOM).



I have no idea what these fields (TransChildRefId, TransChildRefType)
are being used. I would be very grateful if somebody would explain the
use of these fields form me (or gave a hint).

[development-axapta] Problem with the OLAP Service again...

Hi!..When i have marked the checkbox under the "Use amount table" sign in the Cube Instances window it always sent me an error message after clicking on the Process button..And now i have a problem with a cube...To define the cube i used a table which consists of measures with EUR and USD and i think because of this reason the program marked the checkbox automaticly and i tried but couldn't unmark it and it sent me the same error message..

[development-axapta] Transaction marked as 'in use' after internet failure although user session is n

We have had internet shortages, occasionally the document been used
will remain with the "in use" mark although the session is no longer
active. 
 
Does anyone know what is the correct way to make the document
available again for further editing and posting? 

I tried unmarking the "in use" option in the journal blocking tab, but
later we are not been able to post the transaction as it shows an
error with no message.

[development-axapta] Effect of entering offset account to an entry that already had multiple line tra

I was told that offset account was used when one line transactions are
posted. If a multiple line transaction has been entered, showing same
debit/credit total; and later offset accounts are entered for those
lines; the system would show an error message and not allow posting. 

Yet, right now the system is permitting users to do this. Does anyone
know if this correct? Will the transaction be posted and processed
normally? Is this a configurable parameter?  

I'm using Axapta 3.0 SP 2.

[development-axapta] Add option to edit exchange rate in local currency transactions

Hello

I need to be able to modify the exchange rate when a local currency
transaction is entered. A function similar to a transaction that is
being posted in USD, where the reference exchange rate is copied from
the exchange rate table but the value can be overwritten for the
specific transaction. 

I entered a field exchratesecond in a form, but it is not showing. 
 
Anyone knows how to do this?

[development-axapta] Axapta 3.0 Display Methods

Hi All

One of the things that came out of my time with the Axapta performance
specialist last week was related to the use of display methods in Axapta
3.0. I already knew that some work had been done in 3.0 that allowed
display methods to be cached, but had assumed that this just happened
automatically and didn't require us to code anything; Not so. In order
to use this feature, you need to do the following;

*  Make sure you display method is a table instance method, not a
form method
*  Modify the relevant datasource init() method, adding code after
the super() call like
"this.cacheAddMethod(tablemethodstr(JmgStampJournalTrans,error));",
where "JmgStampJournalTrans" is the table and "error" is the display
method.

This is a useful feature for any form that display a potentially large
number of transactions where the display method would be called
repeatedly, but is of little use if the display method is called only
once or twice.

I'm still pretty much a SQL novice. I was wondering if anyone might 
be able to help me figure out what is probably a simple thing - hard 
to say.

I'm trying to find out what forms, reports, etc have been used in an 
Axapta installation, using the SysLastValue table. I notice it 
doesn't show up in the AOT. I've been using the SQL Query Analyzer.

I only want rows where a combination of two fields is unique - those 
fields are recordtype and elementname. There can be many records with 
the same recordtype and elementname but I only want to grab one 
occurance - I guess the first. For example there could be dozens of 
records with recordtype '11' and elementname 'SysQueryForm' - I only 
want one in the results.

Below is the query I'm using to get all the records.

select recordtype, elementname, userid, company from syslastvalue 
where company = 'mm' ORDER BY  recordtype, recordtype;
