Hello everybody we just converted our company from ax3 to ax4, we are having a problem when we try to do a payment proposal (vendor) in Ax4 sp2, we do not approve any invoice (in ax3 sp4) so we assumed it is not necessary in AX4 sp2, are we right or is this step a must. [development-axapta] Shutting off AOS
Hello Everybody We have AX3.SP4, yesterday the server where we have the AOS was turned off by mistake (all the users logged on), we brought it up again and today we had problems with the printers (all the users logged on AOS where having problems, the ones on AOT didnt). I would like to know if this is a normal behavior. We discovered later that the AOS had lost its domain against our other server (where we have the DB). Hello everybody Does anybody know what this table is for???...I think it registers all the payments done through a bank, like custtrans registers all we do with a customer, vendtrans registers all we do with a vendor. Hello everybody Can anybody tell me why not all paid cheques appear in BankChequePaymentTrans. In the report BankRemittanceAdvice there is a join between these two tables. When our users pay a customer and try to print this report in some occasions it does not print. I have figured out that is because some cheques do not appear in th BankChequePaymentTrans but can not guess why? Why? Hello We had the same problem trying to upgrade from sp3 to sp4, what saved us was that we were working on sp2.5 and the solution was to upgrade from sp2.5 to sp4, this because sp4 as I understand has all the hotfixes of sp3. I´ll try to talk with our partner to ask if there is another tip. Hello Sorry if there was a misunderstanding de upgrade was from version 3 SP2.5 to version 3 SP4, as you say version 4 is not out yet. I do not recommend going from V3 SP2.5 to V3 SP3 and then V3 SP4...we did it and lost about 1 month on the try, it all failed. [development-axapta] Upgrade SP3 - Importing DB
Hello everybody I have just upgraded AXAPTA to V3 SP3, all went well until I started to import all the information back using the import utility. I have done the following: 1. Upgrade in the actual AXAPTA version V3 SP2 but the process, sincronization, runned 4 days and nothing 2. Created an empty DB and did an export of the actual and did an import on the new one, have done this 3 times, and every time I have encountered different problems The DB is 1 GB, the *.dat 150 MB (of one of the companies) can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong? or this process simply takes a lot of days :), and I am going to get in a lot of problems. I used the wizard and put all the conditions, then in the body left the deepest line, the report is horrible. Since I have been trying to make it work for so long, I have an idea and it is to save the query in a temptable and in this temptable do the report, as you said the information is ok because the query works, what seems to damage the report is the report itself, I don´t know if it was intended to work the way I want. The information of the report is the following: InventTransPosting_TransDate, InventTrans_ItemId, ItemName, InventTrans_QTY, InventTrans_CostAmountPosted, InventTransPosting_AccountOffset, InventTransPosting_account Filtered by TransDate, Dimension [4], ItemId. A possible solution to this is, I think, is to make a TmpTable with the information of the report and the filtered fields, doing the query and saving it to the tmptable. [development-axapta] Pay a vendor and charge another vendor in the same purchase order
Hello everybody How can I pay a vendor and charge another vendor in the same purchase order, and make the taxes work well. I have tryed in the puchase order changing the ledger account in the lines and changing the vendor in the dimensions tab, but the taxes don´t register correct (some are activated when I charge and others are activated when I pay, but they get mixed when I try to do this in the purchase order) . [development-axapta] How import a text file into AXAPTA
Hello everybody I would like to know how to read a text file into AXAPTA. My users receive about 5 Bank Account Statements every month (very large) and we would like to insert in a temporal table these movements and evaluate them, to make easier the reconciliation process. We need the process to be user easy, so the idea was to use import but the files do not have separators (is a text file), remember that each bank has a different format. In the import the conversion tab assumes that the file is separated, and I think the Import works if the file is separated. So do I have to make a job? We have already entered into the sysusers table but it doesn't let us erease bmssa, because all the tables, views and stop procedures have as owner bmssa. [development-axapta] restore sql server, user bmssa problem
Hello everybody, happy New Year We have the following problem; we did a transfer of DB SQL SERVER 2000 from one server to another, when it is doing the transfer it says it has failed because de user bmssa in the destiny server doesnt exist. We have done the following we do a restore of the DB in another server that has another server name and when the restore finishes, we try to enter AXAPTA and get an error because bmssa does not exist. After the restore in the table SYSUSER we find the user bmssa that has not been created in the new restored DB and in the security, login. When we try to create bmssa he doesnt let us. [development-axapta] Lookup method, how can I do a different lookup using another table
Hello every body I need help to do the following: I have a table called TBSCustMerchandise: CustAccount, MerchandiseId this table has the merchandise that a client transports. In the SmmQuotationTable (form) I have a Tab where we enter the merchandise that our company is going to transport for a given client. What we want is to show only the merchandise of the client and not all the possible merchandise. I know that I have to change the lookup method for the field where I am going to enter the MerchandiseId so it will only show the clients merchandise, do some kind of inner join. I think you should check the internal process of the company because i understand a credit note is done to correct something or reverse something that is done bad, you make the credit note and then do the correction with another transaction. Hello all I have the application in sp3 and the client in sp3 and the upgrade list is still showing, I hace run all the checklist. Does anybody know why.
