I forgot to mention in the original message that we are running MS
SQL 2000 with sp3a & Axapta 3.0 SP2.
Just one more thing:
If I do not set up a manual ODBC Data Source, will connection pooling
still take place.
>From the pervious responses I assume that Axapta 3.0 will still use
the ODBC SQL Server Driver and build the connection string based on
the other supplied configuration setting (Server, Database, UserID
etc.) and hence connection pooling will still occur - kind of like
building a dynamic data source. But you know what they say about
assumptions.
