Wrong, it should be:

rpm -e e-smith-service-control

no version nr.

[root@sme5 /root]# /sbin/e-smith/config setprop atalk status disabled
[root@sme5 /root]# /sbin/e-smith/config setprop squid status disabled

To test reboot and watch the startup.  Should show [DISABLED]

[root@sme5 /root]# reboot

And many thanx again Darrell! I just uninstalled the services rpm by leaving
the numbers away, so it has to be rpm -e e-smith-service-control
