[freenet-dev] some observations on linux priorities & NativeThread

2011-12-10 Thread Zlatin Balevsky
While chasing a 100% cpu usage bug on latest ubuntu with linux kernel
3.0.0-14, ( https://bugs.freenetproject.org/view.php?id=5336 ) Nextgens and
myself verified that passing -XX:ThreadPriorityPolicy=42 to the jvm makes
thread priorities work even without the NativeThread library. I'll report
in a few days if I have observed the busyloop again while running this
way.

Thanks,
Zlatin
