[Dhis2-devs] Auto-Generated Client UICs in Tracker v2.25

2018-01-30 Thread Brian O'Donnell
Hi all,

I'm curious if anyone has experience in auto-generating Unique Identifier
Codes (UICs) in tracker capture module (v2.25 or below), or if there is a
best practices document out there.

We are capturing sensitive information about clients through android
tracker. The service provider would like to capture name and phone number
data, but restrict viewing of these data to higher-level users. Data entry
roles should only be able to search based on a system-generated UIC. You
should be able to construct and re-construct UICs based on client data, as
in the diagram from PSI below.

So we do not need a randomly generated ID for the tracked entity, but a
script which constructs a custom string attribute based on other tracked
entity attributes, similar to this app, but built directly into DHIS2 form:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.eyeseetea.uicapp=en

I am not the only one who has requested this (
https://lists.launchpad.net/dhis2-devs/msg47211.html) but I cannot find a
manual or correspondence online. Happy to provide more details on use case
on request.

[Dhis2-devs] Data Elements sharing functionality

2018-01-30 Thread Kristiyan Panayotov
Dear DHIS2 community members,

I have the following question:

I have two partners working on the same program in DHIS2, but I don't want the
one partner to see a specific data element, because it contains sensitive
information.

Is it possible two users to "see" the same data set/program, but hide one/more
data element from one or the other user? Is that possible from the Data
elements sharing options? When I tried to assign one Data elements to a
specific User, still other Users are able to see that Data Element.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

With respect

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Error message : Form is invalid. Please checkforrequired fields.

2018-01-30 Thread Timothy Kiyemba
Dear Abyot,

Just to replicate the steps a bit, I have removed my declarations for
required fields from program rules then I have maintained it only under the
set up of the program stage for Form 1 - training and sensitisation. I have
declared the 9 fields as compulsory under the set up of the variables for
the stage. When I get back to data entry and click save, it highlights all
required fields, I fill each of them up (all 9) but the red error message "Form
is invalid. Please check for required fields" still remains at the bottom
of the form. I really can't figure out what I am missing.

[Dhis2-devs] Adding and removing source fields under program rules

2018-01-30 Thread Timothy Kiyemba
Dear all,

I am not sure if we have experienced this as well with the program rules
section for DHIS2 2.26. There is a lock as you name an element to be added
to the list of source fields. In-case you need to keep adding new source
fields you have to click update for the whole rule to close and revert back
to editing the same rule. This makes the process of adding source fields
lengthy. This was not the case with DHIS2 2.25. Is there a way this can be
sorted out?

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Option Set - Update an option code

2018-01-30 Thread Kevin Bolger
Hi Archana,

Thanks so much - this will work excellent for the first part of what I'm
trying to achieve.
Are you aware if using a put request and an updated JSON payload would
allow for option code updates?
(I'll test and let you know). I'm concerned as via the UI the option code
is grayed out and unavailable for updating.

I could avoid all this and potentially use the PK id of the item entry in
the eLIMS item table, however its 32-bit hex - given event charts display
the option code when the dataelements charted employ option sets, this
won't work either.

Thanks,
Kevin

[Dhis2-devs] Option Set - Update an option code

2018-01-30 Thread Kevin Bolger
Hi Folks,

I'm trying to build out some scripts to help with meta-data maintenance and
integrity between DHIS2 and a separate eLMIS system that I'm integrating
data from, into DHIS2.

A tracker dataelement I created to handle stock items uses an option set,
each option being and product item from the eLMIS. The eLMIS items use a
unique code and item name combination which are aligned with the option
set's options, names and codes. A potential issue is that these item names
and codes can be updated on the eLIMS side.

Is there any API feature I could use to regularly get a list of the options
names and codes from the option set?
I could then compare these to the eLMIS entries via an external matching or
translation list.if I find an update on the eLIMS side I would then
want to update the code or name on the DHIS2 option while maintaining the
integrity of any existing events in DHIS2 using that option.

Happy to explain it further with a detailed example if required.

Many thanks,
Kevin

[Dhis2-devs] No Data Values

2018-01-30 Thread Stanley Kalyati
Hi all,

I have an instance that was working properly until today when I noticed
that pivot tables and visualizer are saying no data values on some
forms.Yet there is data captured and yesterday I was able to see
data.Another form however i am able to see data when I run pivot tables.

When I run report rate summary, the instance is able to show that I have
indeed completed the data sets.

I am using 2.6 version.

What could be the problem? Please assist

Stanley

[Dhis2-devs] DHIS2 aggregation does not work in v.2.27. Tried clean cache and regenerate data mart

2018-01-30 Thread Andrey Kolpakov
Hi all!

I'm trying to change data in "Data Entry" App, but don't see any affect in
Visualisation App and Pivot tables.
It is quite common problem as I see, but I've tried everything:
- Regenerate analytics at Reports / Analytics
- Disable cache at Systems settings / Analytics / Cache stratagy
- Clear browser cache at "Browser cache cleaner"
- Use another browser without any cache

And it works perfectly on 2.26 version, but not on 2.27 and 2.28. Tried DHIS2
Sierra Leone Demo.

Steps to reproduce this issue I've shared on the Google Drive:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mRjfBvVfwqjxz9c0JotRIlQMJK4wV5V7qf6wEkskkrc/edit?usp=sharing

Will be appreciated any help.
Thanks!___

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Organisation Units repetitive structure

2018-01-30 Thread Calle Hedberg
Bernard,

I would suggest the following to easily cross-check that your hierarchy is
correctly defined:

1. Go to Data Administration -> Maintenance -> Select "Update Organisation
Unit Paths"

2. In the Data Admin menu, select and run "Generate Resource Tables"

3. Set up and run an SQL VIew (also in Data Admin) like this:
SELECT ou.hierarchylevel, ou.name, ou1.name as Parent from organisationunit
ou
INNER JOIN organisationunit ou1 on ou.parentid = ou1.organisationunitid
order by ou.hierarchylevel, ou.name;

4. Execute that sql view, dump it into CSV or Excel, and scan through to
verify that all organisation units in the database have the correct parent

you can obviously also run the same sql script against the database itself

Best regards
Calle

2018-01-30 Thread Calle Hedberg
Hi,

Cascading option sets have been recognised as a need for quite some time -
see DHIS2-431. We have so far not managed to get this prioritised high
enough, but I've had some preliminary discussions with Markus on how to do
it

[Dhis2-devs] Program indicators export to another system

2018-01-30 Thread Elmarie Claasen
Hi all,

We create Programme Indicators and would like to export those to other
systems with different data element UIDs than the created Programme
Indicator UID.

If adding a code to the Programme Indicator which is same as the Data
Element code will this allow matching on import?

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Option sets and data elements

2018-01-30 Thread Knut Staring
Hi Nada,

Are you collecting the same data at two levels? Is it a type of survey
question regarding the organisational unit?

Perhaps you could have two different data elements linked to different data
sets, which can then in turn be assigned at different levels?

Hi Bernard,

Sorry, I'm very busy with a series of meetings this week, and also not in
the best position to resolve this, so hoping for others on the list to step
up. Thanks for the detailed explanation of your issue, my guess it is
likely just some small thing with your database. You could perhaps also try
to take a look directly at your organsationunit table in the db and scan
for any anomalies such as 10 digit UIDs or null values (can also be done
through the DHIS2 GUI with an SQL View (under Data Administration).
