Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] WeeklySunday period labels wrong pattern

2018-03-04 Thread Bernard Sadaka (IM Advisor)
Thank you Nayeem,

I updated my JIRA issue accordingly.

Any chance we can fast forward the solution of this problem?

It renders this particular reporting useless with the wrong labels :( for all
our projects and we can’t substitute.

All the best,

Bernard

Dear Bernard

Thanks a lot for raising the issue.

It seems same issue, I have also found earlier and reported.

https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/DHIS2-2371

Jan is looking after the issue and marked as to do. Hope to get solution soon.

Kindly search issues before report. If your issue is completely similar to any
issue reported earlier, kindly vote for the issue rather creating a new one.

Hello All,

After entering some yearlong data on a weekly basis, I realized that the format
we use is EPI WeeklySunday and now iso. So I changed the period type of the
dataset to WeeklySunday and got a bug which I registered at:
https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/DHIS2-3112

In short, the bug shows the WeeklySunday labels in the pivot table wrong as per
the bellow screenshot:

Further details explained in the jira…

I also checked the DB table _periodstructure and it doesn't show the above
pattern (even after doing maintenance)

Meanwhile, is there a way to fix this while we wait for a proper solution?

Thank you again for the invaluable help on the many support requests we are
sending :)

All the best,

Bernard

[Dhis2-devs] DHIS2 HISP Mobile application: showing erroneous default categoryOptionCombo

2018-03-04 Thread Mike Johnson
Lars –

Thank you for the prompt response last week. I determined that it was not
possible to make these SQL changes while in Haiti, but I will work with my team
in Boston to make these changes in the coming weeks. Thankfully we have no data
stored in the wrong COC. We only need to remove it from the Default
categoryCombo.
I really appreciate your support!

Android Team --
The problem that I described is not affecting the DHIS2 Data Capture Android
application. It is only affecting the HISP Tanzania DHIS Touch application. So
congratulations to the Android team on their work. The DIHS2 Data Capture
application is what I am using now in Haiti.

Congratulations to Ignacio, Marta, Kjerstin, and the Android team. This
application is working really well, and the only challenge for us now is that
the error messaging needs to be more like a pop-up for our users to know
whether data was successfully submitted or if there was a connection error. I
will make this request in the next survey.

All the best,

Mike

categoryOptionCombo

Hi Mike,

this was an unfortunate bug which existed in the API at some point which caused
some trouble in various databases. Cleaning it up is a bit involved if you have
data for both default option combos and want to merge it. We have an SQL script
here with various commands which is helpful:

Lars

I have an instance on 2.27, but it was originally built in 2.24 and upgraded to

I need to regenerate my default categoryCombo. Somehow I have two
categoryOptionCombos associated with the default categoryCombo (default, and
“Cured”, which is an unrelated disaggregation from another categoryCombo).

The only way I noticed this was that I was using the HISP Touch app, and I was
seeing two input fields for each data element with default category combo.

I have regenerated category option combos in the data administration app, I
have cleared the app cache, changed public access to “rw--“, restarted the
server, and pulled a few other things, but nothing seems to work. Is there any
other way to manually remove this extraneous category option combo from the
“default” category combo?

Below is the metadata, if anyone is curious to take a look.

Thank you!
Mike
