[Dhis2-devs] Data Stopped Displaying in Pivot and Visualizer

Hi All,

Recently my instance stopped displaying data in Pivot and
Visualizer.However when I run Events reports,data is present.But when I run
program indicators or aggregate indicators,bo data is displayed.

However from our hosting company,they are able to see data and able to run
pivot and visualizer without any problem.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so any idea as to why this is so?

Unless sombody else in this group have a solution, I suggest you creating a
jira issue.

I was having a similar problem.
(not sure if the same as we can not see your console logs)
On my side it was due to the tracked entity type that would not load.
The migration script from 28 to 29 didnt work so well.
And same error happens when you want to create a tracked entity type but
none exist.
I did end up exporting the metadata of tracked entity type from the demo
server 29, modifying it to fit my program, and importing it on my local
dhis2.
Also ensure that you have a tracked entity type assigned to your program,
and organisation units as well.

Hi Nguza,

I didnt try yet the desktop version, but I am also experiencing this issue
with 2.28 (not the 29 so far).
It seems that the redirection after logging-in is buggy, on particular
conditions:

If I am not logged in, and try to access a specific page of DHIS2 (for
example the tracker capture app), it will first ask me to log in, and then
I have the same bug as you.
If I am not logged in, and try to access the main DHIS2 url (in my case "
http://localhost/;, nothing after), everything works fine.

So, does your user try to access directly a specific page of DHIS2 (maybe
using a shortcut, or with an automatically completed URL in the browser)?

If yes, I would suggest you to change the shortcut to the main DHIS2 url.
Then your user will go "manually" to the specific page s/he wants.

This is a work-around.
It does not change that there is bug that needs to be solved and you can
create a Jira issue about it.
