Re: [Dhis2-devs] Documentation links are down from dhis2.org

2018-10-09 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi Jason!

These are the ones which are not working (at least for me):
i.e: User Manual
<https://ci.dhis2.org/docs/master/en/user/dhis2_user_manual_en.pdf> Developer
Manual
<https://ci.dhis2.org/docs/master/en/developer/dhis2_developer_manual.pdf>

Thanks for your link. Those are working fine.

Best regards!

[Dhis2-devs] Spanish translation of Event Capture and Tracker Capture not working

2017-09-05 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello all,

When we select spanish as interface language for any of the users we
created on our local implementation, Event Report and Event Tracker (among
other apps) are still appearing in English. *i18n_app_es.properties* files
(these are translations from translation server) are correctly stored (by
default) in the i18n folder for both apps. We are using 2.27 version and
305a73c rev.

We saw the same behaviour on demo server.

[Dhis2-devs] Right scrolling arrow on dashboard disappear on spanish translation

2017-07-12 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello Team,

We are currently using DHIS2 2.27 build 5c148f4 (same as demo server) and
we noticed that the right scrolling arrow (used to navigate through the
dashboards) on Dashboard app is missing when you configurate spanish as the
system language (or any laguage with terms. I attach some images to explain
myself better.

   - When you create a dashboard with english as system language the right
   arrow works fine:

With spanish as system language the right arrow disappears, so you cannot
navigate through the list of dashboards:

Tell me if I should report it on Jira.

Regards!

Hello Lars,

I have just checked on demo server and It is still possible to edit
dashboard items (delete them, move them, ...) even if you only have "view

Did you have time to look into this?

[Dhis2-devs] Blocking dashboard items on dashboard for specific user groups

2016-09-28 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

I was searching on the documentation but I couldn't find any reference to
it. Is there any way to block dashboard items on the different dashboards?
I think it is very easy to move or delete some dashboard items accidentally
and it would be good to be able to block them in order to avoid this kind
of accidents happen.
Any thought about this?

Hello devs,

I'm getting the "Exception occurred while trying to import the metadata.
object references an unsaved transient instance - save the transient
instance before flushing: org.hisp.dhis.dataelement.DataElement

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Program indicators in Event reports

2016-07-27 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

Program indicators still not working. I've tried Child Programme's programe
indicators ("Average weight", "BCG doses", ...) on /dev and /demo but they
seem to do nothing on Event Reports or Event Capture. Is it a bug?

Please confirm it and I will fill the bug report.

Best regards!

Re: [Dhis2-devs] DHIS2 version 2.24

2016-07-22 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi,
I have had similar problems with the last build.
I suggest you to deploy 2.23 and add the org units and option sets there.
Once you have done it, you can update to 2.24 and it should work, at least
it did for me.

Hope it helps ;)

[Dhis2-devs] Program indicators on GIS Facility Layer

2016-07-15 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

Is there any way to show program indicators (from tracker data
elements) disaggregated for each facility present on GIS facility layer?
I was looking for it in the documentation but I didn't find any reference
to this feature, so I don't know If this is possible.
The result should be something similar to this for aggregated data
(indicators):

Any advice would be appreciated.

Best regards.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Capture coordinates

2016-06-13 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Thanks for your reply Prosper.
We hadn't considered the program indicator option. We will give it a try.
Anyway, we finally won't use individual coordinates for sure (we realized
we don't need them).

Yeah I guess we'll have to go with the Android apps then.
Have you ever tried to emulate these apps on Windows? This will be the

[Dhis2-devs] Using Tracker Capture offline

2016-05-31 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

We are taking some decisions about the kind of deployment we would like to
do in our project based on DHIS2. We are trying to avoid offline deployment
(or even hybrid deployment) due to the disadvantages this kind of
deployment has, but in some areas we will probably not have Internet
connection at all, so we cannot discard these options.
Just to be sure, will this blueprint:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/dhis2/+spec/tracker-hibernate-caching make
Tracker Capture work is a similar way Event Capture works now with a
non-stable Internet connection? I mean, will this allow to keep registering
TEI on the system even when Internet connection is down and upload the
changes when connection come back again? For the moment, I checked it and
it allows you to finish the TEI you were registering, but not to save and
register a new one when you are still offline, so I guess this is related
with the second-level hibernate caching.

Thanks!

Regards!

I wanted to avoid the level by level option because I thought there has to
be an easier way to do it. And there is!
I'll go with the UID generation like both of you suggested me.
Thanks for your advice!

2016-05-25 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Thanks Morten, yes, we were trying to create a new root and we were missing
that step.

My question now is: In the "parent" object included in "organisationUnits",
is it possible to swap the attribute "id" to "name" (or something you know
when you are creating the parents)? Otherwise, how can be done the import
of a whole org unit hierarchy (in a single json) when you don't know the
"id" of the "parents"?

I attached an image pointing the part of the json I'm talking about.

[Dhis2-devs] Problem creating the parent org unit through the API

2016-05-25 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

We are trying to create a whole org unit hierarchy through the new API
resource /api/23/metadata .
During the process, we realized there should be some kind of problem when
we tried to create the parent org unit (the parent of the whole hierarchy),
because even If the answer from the server is 200 OK once we sent the POST
and with a GET we can verify that the org units are created successfully,
no org units are appearing on Maintenance App. We are using the same
version and build as in demo server (version 2.23 and build 22969).
We tried the same in demo server with the same result.

I attached our JSON and the url we were doing the POST request:

<https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.dhis2.org%2Fdemo%2Fapi%2F23%2Fmetadata=D=1=AFQjCNFEcEvpUIBy7DQX7KNTUvGRw7nObw>

Besides, we tried to create the parent org unit of the whole hierarchy
through the Maintenance interface with the same result. Apparently, it is
created but not shown after on Maintenance App. (We made a GET to
http://localhost:8080/api/metadata?assumeTrue=false=true
and we verified that the org unit was created)

Tell me If I'm doing something wrong here or If this issue was already
reported.

Best Regards!

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Facility coordinates as default for event coordinates

2016-05-23 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi Lars,

I was about to answer Jason explaining use cases, but with your last
message all my questions are now solved.

First of all, I was wrong with the thematic layer issue, I thought you were
basing the thematic mapping on event coordinates so I thought that in order
to render the (for example) number of malaria diagnosis for each district I
had to force the clerks to introduce event coordinates for each event they
registered, otherwise the events would not count on the aggregation. I
understand that it is the same for the Facility Layer, right? The program
indicators appearing for each facility are aggregated with the facility
coordinates, not the event coordinates.

And for the clustering of events It makes total sense to me the blueprint
you just have created. This is what I was asking for in the first place. An
example for this, is that we want to create a map with the number of deaths
clustered at different levels (province, district, facility ...), so with
this new option we won't need to capture coordinates for each event
separately.

Thanks for your help,

[Dhis2-devs] Facility coordinates as default for event coordinates

2016-05-23 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi devs,

Using *GIS app* you need to have coordinates on each event most of the time
in order to use* Thematic Layer and/or Event Layer* on maps and in the case
we consider all the events take place at the facility where the events get
registered, It would be helpful for the clerks who introduce the events
data into the system to not have to introduce the same coordinates over and
over for each patient they register. So my question is, is there any way
(maybe using custom forms??) to make the facility coordinates as a default
value for the event coordinates?

Any suggestion to achieve this will be appreciated.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Capture coordinates

2016-05-23 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi Jason,

Using *GIS app* you need to have coordinates on each event most of the time
in order to use* Thematic Layer and/or Event Layer* on maps, and I
understand what you say about "the event may be registered at the facility,
but actually took place some place different, such as in the community"
case scenario, but in the case we consider all the events take place at the
facility where the events get registered, It would be helpful for the
clerks who introduce the events data into the system to not have to
introduce the same coordinates over and over for each patient they
register. That's why I'm asking if there is any way (maybe using custom
forms??) to make the facility coordinates as a default value for the event
coordinates.

Any suggestion to achieve this will be appreciated.

Regards.

2016-05-23 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi Jason,

What I am asking for is a little bit different (I don't know if this is
possible), I'll try to explain myself:

Let's say we are in Sierra Leone at the Ngelehun CHC. We are capturing data
in the "Inpatient morbidity and mortality program".
Currently, every new event registration requires us to introduce the
coordinates of Ngelehun CHC manually, so my question is: Is there any way
to automatize this? (The event coordinates we have to introduce every time
for each event are the same as Ngelehun CHC coordinates)

I hope my question is more clear now.

Regards.

Hello devs,

I am trying to access to the translation server:
http://translate.dhis2.net/,but
apparently is down (I attached an image captured from my browser), just in
case you didn't know about it.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Capture coordinates

2016-05-23 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello all,

Just to be sure and related to this topic, is there any way to capture *event
coordinates* in a default way? I mean, is it possible to assign coordinates
from an org unit to the events which are being captured in this org unit in
an automatic way? For the moment, we have to introduce them manually with
each event we register on one of our programs in order to make these events
visible on GIS app.

I think this is not offtopic, but tell me if it is.

Thanks!!

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Facility layer icons not appearing on the org unit group edit interface

2016-05-16 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
It happens not only with demo/dev servers but with every DHIS2 instance
we've tried.

So I guess this is a bug.

I'll report it like this.

Thanks for your reply Jason.

[Dhis2-devs] Facility layer icons not appearing on the org unit group edit interface

2016-05-09 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello all devs,

We are trying to configure the facility layer on GIS app, but when we want
to choose an icon on the *org unit group edit interface*, we realized the
icons are not loading.
We saw the same behaviour on demo server. but in this case at least the
icon is loading on the map when you configure the facility layer on the GIS
app (on our instance icons don't load in any case).
We are using DHIS2 version 2.23 and Build 22882.

Please, check this out.

Best Regards.

[Dhis2-devs] Tracker Capture bug with enrollments

2016-03-13 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

I've been developing several programs with registration and when I tried to
introduce data with the Tracker Capture I noticed that none of the
enrollments I registered on the system is showing up on the Tracker Capture
App list. No matter how many enrollments you make, once you complete the
enrollment and go back to change the org unit in order to make another
enrollment, the previous one is like it never existed.
I saw the same behaviour on https://play.dhis2.org/demo, trying to generate
an enrollment in Child Programme in the Tracker Capture, so I guess it's a
bug.

I don't know if I explained myself correctly.

Hope you can help.

Best regards!

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Problem with org units and data aggregation on Event Reports

2016-03-11 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi Jason,

Thanks for your answer.

For data capture:
I'm not using any data set because all the data elements are tracker type.
Could this be the problem? So that's why I'm selecting all org units for
this user (Maybe I could try to select only the children and unselect all
the parents, to see if this fix anything)

For data analysis:
I'm selecting all for the same reason as in data capture. Is it normal the
way hierarchy is showing on the screenshot? It's like is all messed up,
parents and children mix all together...

Thanks again for your time.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] ICD 10 implementation on DHIS2

2016-02-22 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Thanks for your answer Abyot.

I have just checked the ICD codes on the demo server and they are part of
an option set as I suspected.
The thing now, is that on our system the ICD codification has to be in
spanish. I have all the spanish ICD codes on an Excel document, so, in
order to replicate the option set you had on your demo server, should we
make a java script in order to interact with the API and the excel
document? Is there any functionality already implemented for this purpose?

[Dhis2-devs] ICD 10 implementation on DHIS2

2016-02-22 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hello devs,

We are working on a project which requires the implementation in DHIS2 of a
simple medical record.
This medical record, among other things has a field where the Diagnosis of
the doctor will be placed. My question is, is there any way to implement
ICD 10 dictionary on DHIS2 as an option set using it as the answer of this
Diagnosis field? When I say "any way", I mean any way besides the obvious:
Data administration -> Option Set.

Any suggestion or help will be appreciated. I'm sorry if this kind of
question was answered somewhere else, but I didn't find anything related
with this topic.

Thanks Simen!

The same error is happening on the Tracker Capture Android App. I have just
checked it with the last build of the Android App (.apk from github) for

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Android Event Capture app doesn't allow decimal values

2016-01-12 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi all,

The decimal values issue is still on. I checked the Android Event Capture
and Tracker Capture apps (on their last release for 2.20 DHIS2 version) and
I couldn't indroduce any decimal value on any form field even if the number
type of the data elements associated are "Number". The numeric pad which
appears when you are going to introduce numeric values on numeric fields
doesn't have a decimal comma key.
Do you have any news about this? Am I defining the data element in a bad
way?

Best regards!

[Dhis2-devs] Program rule "hide section" and "show error" not working on 2.20

2015-11-12 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Hi all,

I am implementing a program based on single events without registration on
a 2.20 version of DHIS2 (rev 19924).
I realized that the program rules I implemented are not working on the
entry form at the event capture (hide section and show error):

-Hide section expession: #{absent} == 'Yes' (Controlled by a "yes only"
type data element)
-Show error expression: #{height} >= 55 and #{height} <= 120 (Controlled by
a number type data element)

I checked on the "Demo server" (version 2.21) and the same program rules
are working fine.

I wonder if there is any chance these features could be fixed for 2.20.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Simen,

Thanks for your answer.

I have just solved it with the thing you told me.

I'll keep an eye on that new update of the app you are working on. Thanks a
lot.

[Dhis2-devs] Org Units don't load on Event Capture Android App

2015-10-22 Thread Sergio Valenzuela
Dear developers,

I'm trying to test the Event Capture Android App on my DHIS 2 instance but
with no success.
I'm not able to see the org units loaded on the app. I've seen some people
with the same problem on the mail list some days ago, so I tried to use the
solution which apparently worked for them:

-My server instance version of DHIS2 is 2.20. Build revision: 19924. So I
am using the last release of the .apk
https://github.com/dhis2/dhis2-android-eventcapture/releases/tag/MSI-0.2.6
-I directly assigned to my user the orgunits I want to show in the app,
from the "Users" app interface
-I'm using two different Android devices with 5.0.2 Android version

Maybe I am missing something else.

I tried with the demo server too, but since now It has been updated to
2.21, maybe it's normal it doesn't work there either.

Hope you can help me out.
