Hi Brajesh

The combination of categories are attributes on the later versions. It is
typically used to generate multiple forms of the same dataset e.g if you
have multiple service providers providing services at the same health
facility you could set it up that each capture their portion of the
services. If you select the attribute as a data dimension you can also
analyse data by this dimension. And can also limit their access under more
options on user role to only view data for that dimension.

Hello Devs,

While creating data sets, i found there is a drop-down selection
"Combination of categories", which appears with default value in drop-down.
Can anybody on list define its use in developing or designing a dataset or
data entry form in DHIS2 ?

[Dhis2-users] Count of registered events in Programs with category combinations should double of the actual value

Hi DHIS2 Community

When I use category combo for Programs as attributes, the number of
registered events shows as double of the actual number of events. See
below, registered events are 3, but it says 'Registered events (Total: 6)'.

Is this intentional? or is something wrong here? I feel the Registered
event should show as 3 and not 6.

standard report)
b) select chart favourite from a dropdown. All favourites the user have access 
where the orgunit dimension is set as filter is displayed
c) select how many charts you want per "row"

The output is a page of multiple charts (using the data visualiser plugin), one 
for each of the children of the orgunit selected in step a). This can be useful 
for visually comparing performance of districts etc.

It’s quite basic, and there might be chart configurations that are not 
currently supported, but it works with the ones we’ve tried to far.

Perhaps someone with some free time could turn this into a small app with a 
nicer UI for selecting orgunit, favourites etc… And/or making something similar 
for having multiple maps with different periods.

May be you have an old cache in your chrome. Can you clear your chrome
cache and try one more time?

Hi Lise,

The idea with "allow provided elsewhere" is to point the suggested data
element's value is recorded (provided) in another orgunit not program stage.

An example is: image one is supposed to receive a list of vaccines under a
particular program stage. Out of these vaccines, let's say he/she has
received some of them in another clinic. In this case, there is no need to
provide the same vaccine again, rather record them and also tag them as
being provided elsewhere.

We know there are issues with this - say for example which orgunit is going
to take the value during reporting, aggregation ... - but we will get there
soon.
