Re: [Dhis2-users] data element available for org.unit but without data entry by org.unit

2015-07-28 Thread David Huser
Thanks for the quick response. Which setting did I miss? The data set
(in data entry) is visible, but all input fields are greyed out.
I created a user role, assigned the dataset with Y in it, assigned all
authorities; created a user, assigned the user role and tried to log in.

Could you elaborate on the second part of your answer? I don't think I
understand on what I have to pay attention exactly.

Best regards
David

David,

You can allocate Data element Y to a different dataset allocated to a
different user for capturing. The indicator can use numerator and
denominator from different datasets. You will have to pay attention to
the period of the other dataset though as their is no on change period
in dhis2 so you could allow future periods and pre-entry the data upfront.

Hi

How would I tackle this:
The lowest hierarchy (the hospitals) should enter data *X* (a data
element). It is then calculated to an indicator (*X*/*Y*) with
another data element *Y*, which also belongs to their organization
unit, but *they can and should not *enter data element *Y*on their
own. This data element should be available "like a constant" and
just changed upon when it is necessary by an user (not of this
org.unit) with specific rights to do so.

More specific explanation:
Data X = number of products a machine produces in this org.unit
Data Y = number of available machines in this org.unit

Thanks for your help.
