[DDN] last night's Nightline episode
Hi everyone, Last night's episode of ABC's Nightline focused on blogging, and several DDN members were featured in the show. Rebecca MacKinnon, Brendan Greeley and I were all quoted in the piece, and Taran Rampersad was shown on a couple of occasions. The piece also focused on Virginia educator Maura Keaney and how she used her blog to lobby for changes in state legislation; the producers of the show contacted her after I put out a call on DDN and WWWEDU for DC-area community bloggers. So thanks to everyone who suggested people for the show. The show is available at http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline, though I am unable to get the video stream to work on a Mac for some reason. Also, I've posted a review of the show on my blog, http://www.andycarvin.com. thanks, ac -- --- Andy Carvin Program Director EDC Center for Media Community acarvin @ edc . org http://www.digitaldivide.net http://www.tsunami-info.org Blog: http://www.andycarvin.com --- ___ DIGITALDIVIDE mailing list DIGITALDIVIDE@mailman.edc.org http://mailman.edc.org/mailman/listinfo/digitaldivide To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the message.
